@Holly ugh that sucks! What does WMR say for you?
I use Woodforest Bank. They saw mine pending yesterday and it posted at about 8 this morning.
call and ask if there is a hold on your refund or account, if yes ask them why and if a letter was mailed out and if there was what kind of letter, ie: cp05 or 4464c or something like that
Nothing has changed for me either… I was able to get into the wmr site all morning but its still the same “your return has been recieved and is being processed, please allow 21 days….” and I still have the tax topic 152 thing on the bottom for direct deposit….I dont really want to call the IRS cause I have heard they are being rude and they can just push your return back to make it take even longer :/

Just told we would get a letter DATED 2/25 wtf? ccpo5 or something like that. We were selected at random nothing is wrong, no red flags, no errors.
It can take 60 days AFTER the notice to get a refund.
So now I am saying WTF? We filed the 16th, accepted the 30th ordered transcripts 2/4 now we won’t get a letter until after the 25th and the “time” for processing don’t start until AFTER the date on the letter.that number is 4 letters…
This message with ref # 1541 disappeared last week and went back to processing should receive refund in 21 days message. However, when I called IRS today. They still haven’t processed 2011 return and told me in can take another 4 weeks still. So, in my experience just because the Take Action ref# 1541 message is gone does not mean that they are going to process my return any faster then when I first received the take action message. Any one who received this ref# and received a DD yet?
I’m from Florida….On the phone with National Tax Advocate, and she basically told me that those who received their monies slipped through the cracks …. huh???? Something about them going through the old system/test batch..etc… I dunno what to think or believe when people who filed after me (1/30) have gotten their money.
Called the “holds” line, nothing there but told us to call 1-800-829-0922……. So now we are on hold once again….

that hold department is only for previously unfilled returns, nothing else..good news i dont have a hold due to unfiled returns..
bad news, i have to wait 2 weeks for a letter. or he told me tocall 1040#, does he know what hell that isI still have “you must have entered your info wrong” because I think Taxact is still holding it! :(
I have not received a letter yet. Both departments told me to wait the 21 days, that my return was being reviewed, but would only last another 7 days. This was Friday; and my 21 days would be over on the 19th.

impatientlyawaiting: I did received a 4464c letter dated Feb 1. I just do not have the time to go back to customer service department for another over 15 minute hold as I am at work. I will try them at lunch but no idea if not in refund hold department, not in error department where return is (guess sitting somewhere). She said the return started processing on the 28th and she said that some returns may have been picked out by computer in the test batches for review. She just said not her department and could not provide any further information. Seems like no one has a concrete answer outside of the fact my return was re sequenced for a cycle or 2 which I was told 2 weeks ago.

Just got off the phone with the refund hold department and was told there is nothing that shows I am on a hold and not their department and wanted to transfer me back to customer service. No errors, no upostable, no debt indicators.
Maybe you can help.

Anyone know what number to call to get a rep? I’m just going to play dumb and say it said they accepted it on 2/6 and now it is showing no record of my return and see if that works. Considering wmr has been down now for over 30 hours for me but I see other people being about to get on.
…waiting, and waiting, and waiting… Hopefully we will get some good news soon!
I was told on 2 different occasions I should still receive refund within 21 days. Going to call the holds department as I have not spoken with them yet to find out what the issue is at 8 and hopefully get more insight on the letter received.
@Malawong…No transcript ordering, I dont want to mess with anything, get DDD thrown off. They gave me a DDD, and I’m going to see what happens. Actually I dont see how ordering transcripts can change anything either way. CSR told me i was processed, and gave me a date. I’m gnna leave it alone. *Kmak

I’m in San Antonio. I’ve noticed that quite a bit of Texas filers are having the same issue… Don’t know if thats coincidence or not. Has anyone called this morning? On hold now.
Has anyone tried to call and ge a live person? I think that is my next step.
I filed and was accepted the evening of 2/1/2013. The orange bar has not moved from processing with a 152 code. I just knew it would be approved by this morning but not at all. It used to be that your return had to be approved by 11 A.M. on Thursday in order to get it the next Friday and this year I filed on a Friday evening so I was only expecting to get it this week. I have always gotten a DD in my account on Wednesday morning for the past 6 years so maybe they will surprise me this week or next week. My status has always changed on Monday morning though and I can’t order transcripts yet.
@robinlynn You should have an update this morning telling you your DD date. Once you have an amount it tells you in a couple of days. It did the same for myself and my mom.
Still the 21 days spill for me and I was accepted on the 5th… this is now starting to get annoying….i just want it to go from procressing to approved….thats all!! But no still in the processing…..

our status has not changed at all except wmr doesnt say under review it says processing expect refund in 21 days tax topic 152 and my friends currently is unavailable all of a sudden
WMR and the 800# still say they can’t find me. We filed with HRB on 1/31 with the 8863. I had no idea there was a hold up on that form and still feel gypped that HRB didn’t flash some window and tell me there would be a delay before I hit the final button. But that’s a gripe for another forum. :-) Anyhow, they sent an email 2/2 to tell me I would be delayed. My file says “transmitted” on HRB and I never could get an IRS person to verify whether it had been received on their server. HRB has held up our state return also. So, at this point, I must believe HRB when they tell me they will send it through on 2/14. If I don’t get some kind of confirmation on 2/14 I’m going to go crazy because I feel like my stuff is just out in cyberspace somewhere. Very unsettling feeling like this. I know God isn’t going to let my family be put on the street or shut the lights off. Not even close. We are fortunate. It’s just that momma needs a new car! :-) Best to all with filing this week and swift deposits!
I know! Its really irritating me. I have been holding off on calling them for 3 days now hoping it would change but since it hasn’t I’m going to give them a call this morning when they open and see what’s going on. I have been reading that people that filed before the 31st have been pushed back for some reason. My friend filed a week before I did and has already gotten her check and she said that the site had given her 2/13 as her date. And the weird thing is her’s wasnt even direct deposit it was mailed and she still got it before I did!!
Filed 1/31 and accepted same day. Still waiting as well. No updates as of this morning. I have only contacted the IRS twice but I really want to call this am. Seeing people who now filed on the 6th with a date just makes me feel uneasy. What the hell is taking so long to get to us? Every single person I know who filed after me either now has their money or has a DDD. Ridiculous.
Same here still processing. I am just gonna keep checking my bank account each day first before I even check WMR. Seems like it is a joke anyway.

I filed 1/23, supposedly got accepted on 1/31. But whenever I check the WMR site it says tax topic 152. And when I call the automated number it says they don’t have any information available. WTH is going on
I filed and was accepted on 1/31 been stuck in processing called the irs on Friday and told them I put the wrong account number in for my dd the rep told me to check my info and call back by the end of the day because if the account number was wrong they could put in for a paper check but she said it had to be Friday so I thought I was almost done processing but as of today no ddd can’t order transcript or anything this sucks
you cant set up a payment plan, i did that last month and he gave me a 90 plan…but now they say they arnt allowed to cut a check if you owe them anything….. i got the debt from last year and they took exactly what i owed and gnna send the rest
Tell them you are a professional truck driver and are currently driving and have no way to get on the internet safely. They’re pretty nice after they think you absolutely have no way of checking. I just failed to mention I have been home for 4 days… lol. I too will call in the morning and get an update to post here, I hope.

2 w2sGirlfriend and I accepted by IRS same day, 2 minutes apart. She received her DD on 2/4. Apparently the IRS has no rhyme or reason to the processing. Maybe it has to do with the first number of SSN? Hers is a 3, mine is 5. Don’t know, but she always seems to have her refund done and a DDD a day or two before I do. Even if I file a day or two before she does. I wouldn’t normally be so OCD about checking, but I’m planning on using my refund to buy a truck so I can haul with my own truck and make better money instead of driving for someone else. Hopefully I get it before the truck I’m looking at is gone…

Filed and accepted 2/1. Finally got a ddd of 2/14(my birithday). Glad this is almost over.

I bank with USAA as well. My ddd is 2/12 … I know they usually post deposits a day early around 7-730am. So ill post back if mine comes in today

And some are saying that Republic received their $$$ from the IRS on the day they were scheduled the DD but it didn’t show posted to their personal bank/card until like 8am the next day. Guess it just depends…

Try going to https://www.republictaxpayer.com/ but I have been reading that people who filed through TaxAct and used Republic Bank to take their fees out first have been getting their $$$ put in their accounts sometimes 2 days in advance!!
Ive posted here that the best info on why return was being held was nbecause of potential fraud..this info came from a really nice lady…she alsosaid that i was flagged for having my girlfriend as a dependant..I just found out that B.S…IRS states as long as she makes less then 3500$-she only made 2000$, AND I PROVIDE HAVE HER SUPPORT, then ican claim her..
with that one lie i no longer elieve this lasy- becides what a wierd hold anyway..still complety clueless..

I just wanted to mention that I am unable to order transcript. Is this a pretty definite indicator that I am indeed still processing?
Howdy all, I’ve been lurking on this site for a wile now, two weeks last year and since the 31st of January this year so I figured I would go ahead and make an account and post this year.
I filed and sent my taxes around 5pm the 31st and got my acceptance email around 11pm so chances are they didn’t actually start processing it till
the 1st or later which is understandable. I’m also used to waiting two weeks from the day I file, I’ve never been lucky enough to get that same week return
I actually always seem to end up in a group that has issues in some form or fashion. At least in previous years I’ve had the cycle chart to fall back on which
has always been dead on for me when WMR wasn’t updating, but without it this year I’m just lost and Frustrated.My returns are pretty simple. Married filing joint, 1 child, EIC, and a 1098-e (student loan interest)
Like everyone else I’ve been in processing limbo since then, no updates, no letters, and no strange codes. Just one orange bar “received and processing blah
blah blah” on the web, app, and hotline. No offsets on record.Parents filed theirs early this week and as of Friday have a ddd for the 13th which yay for them but that ruined my night.
While I hate that we’re all going through this it makes me feel better to know that there are others who are in the same situation and its not just me.
Its gotten to where I start checking here each morning for info before checking WMR because that one orange bar is too depressing.Bday is tomorrow and the joke around the house is that the IRS just wants to surprise me with my refund, not looking like that is going to happen but I’ll settle for a DDD

A refund date will be provided when available. it was on the 21 day msg since i was accepted on 1/28……so hopefully ill hear some good news tmr!!! finally some progress….filed 1/26 accepted 1/28 21 day msg until 2/9/13 hoh, 3 dependents, tuition deduction(not credit)
