filed 1/25 accepted 1/27 got cp05 2/4. wmr still says 21 days processing. cant order return transcript. Basically in limbo wtf.

@kel I also got my 1 orange bar back. Those irs ppl are clueless. They just say what they have to in order to get you off the phone. Can’t believe a word they say. I am hoping for tonight as well…
So I called and waited 13 min. Talked to a lady who said they are back logged and system can’t Keep up. Just because you don’t have a DDD doesn’t mean they havent processed it yet. She said check back periodically and you will receive your refund by the 20-21st. She said only if you get an error message or it says you need to contact them or they have an issue then call. But, if it jus says still processing you, you are still good. So, here is what I’m going to do: I will continue to check wmr every morning and then before I go to bed for updates. I will then post on here as what my status is. I’m not going to freak until I hit the 18th and not have a DDD. I will then call. She said it’s hard to go by wmr because of all the delays with so many people using it. If you want to call and get a live person, call the regular IRS number and hit 7. Then wait for a rep. It works, just takes a bit!
@Drea817…. sounds dumb to ask but the chart that provided skip 2/7 was that an error? Seems to end on the 2/6 and pkup again on the 9th …. I’m nervous letter me know !
@abby86…. I’m hopefully for an update for all of us definitely keep all posted. also I’m a little nervous to call irs too I don’t want any delays I heard they can push it back too.

Called the 800-829-0922 number. The guy didn’t even want to look at my file, said if WMR says processing then that’s what it’s doing. I told him I know I have a hold, can you tell my why? So he looked it up, said a letter CP05 was mailed. That’s all he would say.
So I called the tax advocate line, told the lady that WMR says processing, some reps say I’m being reviewed, some say I’m not, hold dept says I’m not being held. Asked if she could help me so she says hold on I’ll get someone. I was on hold for 15 min and then a regular IRS rep come on the phone! She transferred me back to them!!
That rep said the CP05 letter was mailed on the 7th, I have to wait 45 BUSINESS days from the 7th to possibly have my refund released. If they need more info they will mail out another letter, and then the 45 days starts all over again from that date!
I am so annoyed, why can’t they just review it and give me my money? WTFEfiled 01/30

Ive used republic for many yrs and never had a problem with deposit.
Also I’m in SC so any one in SC received state refund?processing and under review

If Where’s my Refund Status says its process, 21 days b.s. then ur ok…you don’t want it to say anything else-except approved of course-
if we are all in some IRS game to extend their deadlines or whatever atleast know that were going to surive..

my only difference is my income was more..and this was my first time in 3 returns i did not get the education credits.( umm school ends right, and so do the credits.) i do have a differnt address, but i move a lot and my last 3returns were differnt addresses..same 4 dependants3 years running.

have you claimed a dependant that you didnt claim last year or that someone else claimed last year or do anything different this year filing wise?O i’m absolutly mad i tell you..this brood told me there is absolulty no id theft issues what-so-ever with my tax return..i guess i’m in review…just gonna wait for the letter

It says on line there Accepting the school credit taxes feb,14 so I’m hoping maybe a week after that we will have the taxes
I am feeling oh so very lonely with out my updates! Like I said, all I want is a DDD or for my orange bar to actually move!!! So, with the 4 day thing, Im hoping I will at least get an update tonight or tomorrow morning. Im at day 5 now. It is just so frustrating because it seems as if so many other people are getting refunds, or DDD. Ugh! STRESS

i was looking through the differnt letters u could get, none have todowith holds due to id theft..on hold withid ytheft people, had to call..:)@Denton10 in with you this morning same generic msg but I did get my 1 ORANGE BAR BACK! Ugh! Trying to stay postive for tonight WMR update.

Just giving our info. My boyfriend saw the same “under review” status. Finally called the hold dept today (the # given here) and they said it was being reviewed by the exam unit. They gave a # that was disconnected to call them. Called back and was transferred to the exam unit. They told him that he would receive a letter explaining what paperwork he would need to submit within 30 days. He asked her what he was flagged for and they said for the EIC. He will receive the fed income tax paid in in a few days and the rest will be released once paperwork is in. From my “google research” he’ll just need to send in copies of social security cards and birth certificates etc for the kids. Just thought we’d share our info.

okay I checked the WMR after the update, well my bar came back same generic 21 day msg no dad as of yet. WIth the 4 day pattern in mind if nothing last night update maybe tonight? Who’s with me feel lonely w/o any updates.

Ok, called the holds dept. Got a nice lady but she says I called the wrong dept., to call customer service again and if they try to transfer me to the holds dept to ask to speak to a manager! She asked if I had the customer service number, I said yes, the 1040#. She said no, call this 1-800-829-0922. So now I’m on hold with that number. Anyone know what it is? All the prompts are about setting up,a payment plan and stuff. I’m freaking out, I don’t owe them any $$!

I was wondering if anyone in CA has received their refund yet. Mine was accepted on 1/31 and it is still processing. I received Federal DD on 2/8.

is anybody under review with a hold on their refund or under review and processing?
Hello all…I called the holds review dept and got the rudest lady ever!!I told her I received the 4464c letter and she said u have called the wrong number and she proceeds to give me the regular IRS number.So I called them and they stated I have no holds an to wait the full 21 days.This is a mess and I’m so confused…
After WMR being unavailable all day yesterday I finally got in to see the same 21 day message. I did call and was told they rec’d it on 2/6 which is the same day I filed. Nothing…nada…… I an not able to order either transcript. The wait continues.
I thought everyone might find this interesting. I was accepted on the 30th. I ordered an account transcript (needed for court) on the 5th. It arrived today, and was dated the 6th. It said I had never filed this tax year. So I call. I was told that my return wasn’t received until the SEVENTH. I’m supposedly not under review….it processing as normal. We shall see.

I know I’m old because I remember when it used to take months to get a check .
And there was no way to check status

No DD
No online bills to pay
But you checked your mailbox everyday for that brown envelope with the multi colored check to show up cuz someone said they had received theirs.Oh technology, how you stress me out

Filed 1/22. Accepted 1/28. Been processing ever since. Spoke yet again with a person in refunds today. Prior I was told that I was in review. Today I was told that my return was unpostable with errors. She couldn’t (or wouldn’t) tell me what the error(s) were but did say that if it is something they can fix themselves then they will do so manually. If not then I will get a letter in the mail. No ddd on record. I tried to do some research on reasons why it could be ‘unpostable’ but I couldn’t find anything and all the information on the IRS website may as well have been in greek because I couldn’t understand a thing.
I have not received any letters as of yet. I am just sick over this and the ‘not knowning’. I just want some clear and specific answers on what is wrong and I just can’t seem to get it. Has anyone had this problem of their return being ‘upostable with errors’? Please enlighten me.
Yep I’m at the first orange bar this morning. It’ll be like last year , it’ll still show Pending amd the dd will magically happen.
I tend to not believe the time line or IRS info. It comes when it’s ready.Here is my story. I e-filed on the 25th was accepted in a test batch on the 27th. I remained in processing land from the 30th and remain there today. On Friday I received the 4464C letter. I filed HOH, 2 dependents both previously claimed. I was amazed when I found this page and saw that so many people have the same issue. I have been on Google since Friday researching and this has happened every tax year since 2010 from what I can find. What happens according to previous years posts is once you run through for the test the second run once the IRS opens flags your forms as a duplicate which generates the letter and throws you into the review pile. When you call the reps they usually are no help because your letter shows 0 as your error code. Which is a computer generated error. I’m not sure if that is the case this year just sharing what I have found from previous years.

So, I filed the 6th after 11 so I am going to be waiting until the 20th. Makes me feel a little better to actually have some sort of date. wrm is really irritating me. It still saying processing. Does anyone else have this issue??? And, when did all you guys file and get accepted?
Ok, i havea unique story i’m sure…i’m still processing..my return is readyfor me I just have to lift this hold..its a ID theft thing..this chick did not for sure confirm this,but allthree agaents i talked to mentioned this as the most likly cause..
what sucks is i have to wait for this letter, it will tell me what i need to do or it will send me further into depression..says not to worry, she said only worry if WMR says something other then processing..lets hope.

I was told last week by H&R Block that most people don’t know they’ve been reviewed; that usually the irs rep tells them they are still processing. If a letter is sent, thrn it is either a math error, w2 amounts don’t match, or a dependent has either a wrong SS#, or is new, or was claimed by someone else last year. If a human has to look at it, a letter is sent….if the computer reviews it, your stuck in processing limbo until the next cycle.
This lady just said we would get a letter dated 2/25, and I asked why it took so long for a letter to go out, she said she didn’t know. I am going to call back later or tomorrow see if I can get someone more helpful.
The way she made it sound was they won’t even “review” it until after the date of the letter and that was why to allow an additional 60 days after the letter.I still can not log in either I have a dd for the 13th…ugg
I know mine was looked at multiple times they dont know why i have a hold either just saying im under review
Holly, I wonder if the rep even looked at your return. I have seen alot of people get the date of Feb 25th for various reasons…
both IRS ladies told me i have a hold they just dont know why
I dont have a letter yet but I know one is coming, this seems crazy so many people are in review, if they have to do a manual review there are alot of people that will be waiting a very long time

On 2/8 WMR status changed from the bar to “Processing, will let you know a date”
Called IRS on 2/11 and was informed that my return wasn’t accepted until 2/8. I told them that the WMR and phone line had acknowledged receipt on 1/31 and she just rudely stated well it wasn’t accepted until 2/8! I was told that they have 21 days from that point so not to call back until 3/4/13 and that on top of that it looked as though my return was resequenced so I should give it an extra week :( Does anyone know what resequenced means? This is so frustrating :/said same thing’

I called the irs. And again they said that they can not give many any info. That WMR knows more than they do. I told her to check anyways. She did and said it is processing nothing more. Give it a day or so. I told her about my status on WMR. Saying your return is being processed. No bar.Nothing(had that for 8days). She said it could be in the finish stages on my account… I live in Ohio. Filed the 30th. Accepted the 30th. Acknowledged 1/31/13. Ordered Account transcript but no return. My husband has a offset.I have had so many different storie. I will give them till thursday. If I have not hear anything new,I will call them.
Grr. Don’t know why my post didn’t go through. I suppose because I was on my phone. Anyway, I spoke to a nice lady on the hotline and she told me that she sees nothing wrong with my return, no holds, no review, etc. I just don’t have a DDD yet. Still waiting.
