Ok so on Feb 15th I started getting the refund date when available message no tax topic…. Today I have that with tax topic 152 and my refund amount gone?!? I filed 1/18 accepted on 1/30 hrb online …..so is this good news ?? PLEASE GOD I HOPE SO lol sorry I’m just frustrated as can be with this :/

Got a cp05 dated yesterday. Was told by a rep last night another letter was mailed out yesterday and that’d we get a refund by 4/15 or it’d be denied.

@ughtaxes, I think that means you’ll see a DDD soon. If you were to follow the process that many have reported here, you would find that happened to many many people who shortly recieved a ddd. Since the IRS seems to be using the old processing system, it seems that the huge update takes place over Wednesday nights and DDDs show up on Thursdays.

Ok…so question. Received my transcripts after waiting 10 days….have a processing date of 03/04/2013. Anyone know what this means?
Nothing alarming on the transcript, no weird codes or notifications, amount is correct.

It took them 26 days for them to send me the 4883c letter. I called and verified yesterday after waiting two hours on hold. I just do not understand why we have to wait an additional 4-6 weeks when we have already waited three. You mean to tell me they couldn’t verify over the phone when they were telling us they do not know what the issue is. Or are they looking for more things to say they want us to prove? If someone explained why it takes 4-6 weeks longer maybe we wouldn;t be so frustrated but they act like they have no idea why. I am afraid it is just going to sit there again. How do I know they released it because the WMR sure isn’t showing anything different. I just do not even know what to do at this point. What a nightmare!
Hey my fellow under reviewer… I got my return transcripts in the mail today…I called again… Trying to find out more information on the hold/review… and at this point I have NO IDEA what is going to happen… was told they were looking into my information making sure everything was on the up n up and who know how long it will take… she told me if they need more info that they will send me another letter… to find out this it only took 4hrs on the phone being disconnected 4 times and transferred 6… Hoping for no more letters and a DD soon… I have no idea how long I have been on hold but I called last wed and found out about it…oh well I guess I can stop waiting for it now at least I know something Good luck to you all
@ccs753 I think it is just a process as I faxed over all my docs last week and she told me she sent my information over and asked everything to be completed by 2/27. She told me we were scheduled to talk again on 3/4 but I could call her on 2/28. This to me sounds better than 60 days the letter is saying it may take. Hopefully it will all get done sooner for you.

I filed on 1/23 and was accepted on 1/26 but had to wait for the processing date of 2/14. I was able to order transcripts finally on 2/20 and received a DD for 2/26. I checked the SBBT today and IRS has already deposited funds but wont probably post to my bank until tomorrow. We are all finally being processed and anyone else still waiting should at the least receive DD by Friday. Good Luck!!

How do you know if you are REALLY under review? F/a 1/30, had orange status bar until a week ago then went to processing reveiw date when available. Ordered transcripts 2 weeks ago, recieved them a week ago. That had a date of 2/25 on it. Not sure about any codes on there though. Called IRS Friday and they told us it’s under review, to expect a letter sent out on March 4th. Looks like a lot of you already have letters or notices on wmr but so far nothing like that here. Really frustrated waiting!

Nothing new our Tax Advocate called back Friday. Wanted us to fax her a copy of our taxes, review letter, w-2, last paycheck stub of the year.
So I got that all faxed over Friday afternoon. So now we wait some more.I have a question for everyone who got the CP05 letter.

Thanks for the responses. I’ve looked further and when I call the offset number apparently the offset is against me and not my husband and it gives me a choice of personal or business information. When I check personal there is nothing but business says I owe State of Maryland. Which makes no sense because I haven’t received a derned thing from Maryland saying my business from last year owes them anything. Or heck any of my businesses ever, So odd. Of course everything is closed for the weekend so I can not talk to a person until Monday. Yay, two days to sit around and worry some more.. like I haven’t done that enough since 1/25. Wish it would give an amount at least so I would have some idea of what is actually going to be deposited until I can this offset business straightened out.
Here’s my story: I filed on 1/16, was accepted on 1/24 (IRS says 1/25). I sat for 3 weeks before they accepted the 8863, like most of us have. Reaccepted on 2/14, or so I thought. I was put back into processing on 2/20. I woke up this morning to a dd of 2/27.

good evening all thought I would update you on what’s going on: 2/20/12 received state refund… was able to order return transcript either the 20-22 unsure of what date now… 2/21 called finally and talked to a very nice lady… (asked to check if my DD information was correct) said I had a issue with my state being deposited (lie) she verified my info was correct then I asked if she could see a DD date. No she said that my return was on hold but couldn’t tell me why…smh then she asked if I received a letter on the 26th I stated no I never got a letter (lie)…. she told me to look for a DD sometime around the beginning of next month and it could take up to 60 days from the 31…..which puts it at about easter sunday… I have decided to give up on getting a refund cause at this rate it doesn’t look like I am getting one… WMR still says the same a refund date will be blah blah blah…. but if I get a change I will let you know… I’m done
I was getting the still processing bar, now when I go in to check my status it says that I entered my stuff incorrectly? Bad sign? Or just a mess up in the WMR site

Blani I dont have that message either my ddd is 2/27 as well since you have netspend you may get it sooner than 2/27 based on what i seen some people on here who uses it however do not quote me on that I have TD bank.
where r u guys getting dd from mine was excepted 02/14/13 and thats all the info it gives another thing is i paid over 300.00 to have my taxes thru hrblock what a waste of money last time ill ever go to them there the biggest ripoffs out there

anybody in the same boat?No, Blani, that is not a generic message on everyone’s WMR. I do not have that message. You might want to give them a call and see if they can tell you anything… or just wait until you get your account transcript in the mail, which should have some information on it.
I filed 2/1 and accepted 2/1. i got my one bar probably a few days later then stuck in processing ever since. I decided to call the ITS for the first time on on Tuesday and I was told i am still in the 21 day window. I called on Wednesday and was told they see my return but it seems to be stuck in limbo and not posting to the system the agent seemed perplexed himself. I called on Thursday and was told I was mailed a form 4883c (potential identity fraud) on the 13th. I never got it so just called that hotline and verified my information on 2011 taxes, agi, dependents etc..was only on the phone for a few minutes. I called again on Friday and was told it will be sent to processing to wait 4-6 weeks. First of all if a letter was mailed why did I never receive i?t and when information is verified why should it take another 6 weeks?. I was never told that I was a victim of identity fraud only that it is a precaution the IRS is doing now. Why does that precaution have to affect me by almost three months? also I see many people who filed just a week ago and have their money. I have spent countless hours checking on anyone who received this letter and so far not seen anyone at least online who has got their refund so I am assuming we will actually need to wait the six weeks. I am feeling very frustrated.
1/28 – filed
1/28 – accepted 11 hrs later from filing
1/30 – around 10pm finally got a status on wmr with ‘Return Received’ (1 bar) & still processing
1/31 – ordered acct transcript but couldn’t order return transcript
2/6 – received acct transcript & 4464 c letter (dated 2/4) & has no code on it whatsoever. it had no action required. wmr still the same.
2/14 – wmr had no status bar but still the same msg w/return received.
2/16 – wmr still had no bar but msg changed to Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available. i ordered another acct transcript to see if i get any codes because my transcript had nothing on it…it was blank w/a as of date of 2/18th.
2/18 – wmr still the same…no status bar w/msg. i still can’t order a return transcript.
2/19 – wmr still the same (no bars since 2/16). i still can’t order a return transcript.
2/21 – got acct transcript that was ordered on 2/16 Pic of acct transcript – totally blank just like the first one. exact same thing as the first one. only diff was the as of date. first one was 2/18 & this one is 3/04.
2/22 – Pic of WMR as of today (since 2/16)

Then wednesday same message only the refund amount disappeared. Yesterday was able to order both account and refund transcripts. Woke up today with a DDD of 2/27 and both orange bars are back. Only thing added at the bottom is this:

HRB gave me a DD of 2/20
I have WF so they said to expect a 5 business day delay in getting my DD but I don’t believe it at this point.
Can’t ever get a person at IRS without getting magically “disconnected” everytime.Gonna call HRB again see what they tell me. Ugh – Hope it just comes in monday cause my brain is going to explode.

I got this letter dated Feb 21 (I filed and was accepted on 1/31) and called the number immediately. The whole call was about 15 mins and I was put through to an agent immediately. He asked questions about my 2011 return (employers, dependents, basic info) and then followed with specific lines from 2012 return. That part took 5 mins and then I was on hold for about 8-9 mins and when the agent returned, he said that I was all set and all I needed to do now was wait for my refund…which will take 4-6 weeks. He did note that “some” had received theirs within 2 weeks but cannot guarantee that.
Please no “I got my refunds” This thread is to let others know they are not alone in not receiving a refund.

I been looking online to see if other people have been through this before and I heard some got theres in may some oct. and they paid them from a 100 to 150 interest but i don’t know how much they were getting back.this is some bs.WE THE PEOPLE NEED TO (TAKE ACTION) LIKE IT SAYS ON WMR AND PUT A END TO THIS BS.
