This is from google: cycle 570 means your refund has been held, or delayed, by the IRS for an unspecified reason and an unspecified period of time. This code is very common for early filers. Sometimes the IRS will ask you to verify your identity, or take another action, and sometimes, they will just release the hold
Also, my wmr never showed I have to verify just my online account does. There was a big glitch this year with it but unfortunately mine was not a part of the glitch.
My notices don’t show up but I called and the irs could see where the letter was mailed. With you having a 150 I would think they are just reviewing the return seeing as the 150 has the 14 digit code to verify. I can’t see that because I could verify if I could. I wouldn’t panic. People seen this and it cleared up the next round of updates. Just keep a check on your online account.

I filed 2/2. I was accepted same day within 15 min. Up until yesterday I had n/a on my 2 top transcripts and the account and wage had 2023 but were blank. Yesterday my transcripts updated to codes 150, 806 and 570. I have not filed any differently to than I have for the last 10 years. I cannot find on wmr or my IRS account where I would need to verify or if they sent a letter.. We where would I find this. I have nothing in notices and letters. Help!
From what I seen it means your ach was possibly rejected and they will mail a paper check.
Is there a difference when the status says received and being processed vs received and being reviewed? There’s nothing else besides that no tax code or further information and my tax transcript has a 150 code and negative balance of what I’m supposed to get. I did file my amended return because I forgot to add a 1099 and additional W2 so there is a 971/977 code saying that was forwarded for processing. But I was told filing an amended return wouldn’t effect my original return so I’m just extremely confused. I need that money and was counting on it. I’m an EITC/CTC filer so just trying to figure out what to expect so I don’t get my hopes up too high. Plz help!!

@rkinsey0 that happened to me 2 years ago. I got my refund before the letter ever came.

I just read on the main forum that they have the 570 and 971 but a week later they got the 846 and no letter. We have a bit of hope.
I had to step back and remind myself of that thanks to your post. I love it and it’s much appreciated.

@Labeba79 If you are a daily hopefully you’ll update (transcripts) by Tuesday with a DDD and if you are a weekly you should update on your transcripts on Friday morning between 12am and 6am. Fingers crossed for you to update.
@ Brittany I am happy for you. I truly like it when people get theirs it makes us all believe. @ white wolf, I agree. One lady on another forum just got hers after similar situations, she did verify in person last Wednesday and no updates on wmr or her irs account, but she checked her bank late afternoon( FRiday) it was deposited. She thinks the verification releases the hold, not starts the processing. who knows. Transparency is not Uncle Sam.
10 days ago I got my 846 code for DDD 2-26 but WMR says my refund will be MAILED by 2-26.
I have always been DD, and this is the 1st time I’ve had the fees taken out of my refund… is there a difference?
I do keep an eye on SBTPG and it STILL says “unfunded” but does say it has my direct deposit info so does that mean IRS is going to mail my refund to SBTPG?
I’ve mentioned to my husband about verifying in person but the closest office is over an hour away and long car rides are hard for him right now. This letter thing is a joke. I don’t see why we can’t get transcript updates and have that 150 code at least but the obviously figured we would find out the code is on them!!!
Tried mine and hubbys still processing for both and no updates on its account.

Nothing unexpected or new with irs. Same sh*t, different year. 🙏🙏🙏Filed 2/17 and have always been a weekly except for 2 years back. Married filing joint, with ctc. The only thing different this year is we are now claiming 2 kids instead of one. I don’t expect any updates till next weekend, but did update on transcripts yesterday to both bottom showing 2023, but obviously blank. no return filed. The question I have is when checking wmr, under my social it dropped the 152 tax topic and says it is still be processed. However, my husband’s still says your tax return is being processed and still shows tax code 152. Irs account shows no letters or tells me to do anything. Any thoughts? we usually always get our refund within 2-3 weeks and deposit date for a Wednesday. I guess I just find it odd to switch to the message when its only been 7 days since we filed. But maybe that is normal??
No movement for me this week. Wmr never said verify but online account does. Was told letter was mailed 2/13 and still no letter. Mail never takes 3 weeks! My husband has been injured since we filed and we have no income coming in and are about to run out of funds. Really depending on this return!!

Filed late night 2/15, accepted 2/17. Received email DD was sent on 2/23 but GA WMR says it will be sent on 2/27. No texts this year because I disabled receiving texts from emails but I always get two differing dates and it’s always the later date. I will say it was faster this year but slower than years past.
I filed on the 11th and accepted on 16th of February.. Im waiting patiently that’s all i can do and be positive…God know all my needs and He will always be on time
I filed on 2/8 and it still processing. My transcripts are N/A. I called the IRS, I ask agent if I need to verified anything and she stated no it hasnt been 21 days. I check with ID me for any notices coming, it states nothing. No changes. I hope by next week I see some changes. Never had any issues until this year. Ugggg
Had to verify my ID in person drove 2 hrs away. wmr never cleared but transcript updated yesterday with a ddd on 2/28. also never received a letter that was “mailed out” just checked and my tax money came in hit yesterday. I bank with sofi.
Conclusion: if any way possible yall verify in person.

My DDD was 2/22 and on TPG it says funded 2/21, with it posting to my bank on 2/22…but haven’t received it. I bank with Chime and I’ve called them multiple times with the trace number from TPG and they insist they haven’t received anything from them. Has anyone else had this happen? I created a case with TPG but haven’t heard back from them.
Mine are all blank. My husband has top two blank and bottom two says 2023 but are blank/say no return filed. I don’t remember having to look up his account last year. But I guess it’s because they only do the id me now and not regular accounts like I had. Just the main ss# first which is usually the husband. I have to ask him for a code daily because I dang sure keep checking!
Filled 02/02 2024 irs received e-filing same day . Stuck on refund being process on wmr for 20 days. Today Friday 02/23 checked wmr but changed from refund being process to refund being process. I quickly logged intoy irs account to check my transcript and got the 846 code for ddd 02/28. Is this a good sign ?
