Hey everyone! i was wondering if anyone is familiar with 840refund issued code?? How long do I have to wait?

Still no updates, I get them weekly on Friday. 570 and 971 remain the same. WMR remains the same as well.

I really hate this tax year so far. Have never had my taxes held back. Wish they would provide some type of notice or explanation to expedite the process. So incredibly frustrating.

Also, anyone pictures for your deposits to be made to a credit karma account, did you like set up direct deposit? Do I have to? And I have an old bank account linked to that somehow so now I’m just like freaking out trying to make sure that it’s going to go into my credit karma has been account that I created the other day.

Checked transcripts today, now have 571 code (resolved) and 846 code for refund sent with a date of 3/8/24. WMR has not updated to reflect this.

So, last night my weekly transcripts got updated. I have a future date of 03/18/2024 with $0.00 balance on both.
This is after they sent me a letter asking to fax my W2s which I did on 02/21/24.
Now I’m waiting for another letter presumably to see what the hell they want…

Yes I checked this morning and it still has the verify message and tried but system says unable to assist called and they said I didn’t need to and faxed over paper they requested 2/14 but yes as of today its still there , why is it there that what I want to know and you call the agents and they says they see but nothing on my record showing I need to do it

@monaa you have to have your letter in hand because there is a 4 digit number that you have to verify.

Received my letter on 2/28, verified identity as was told it could take up to 9 weeks to finish processing.

Transcripts haven’t updated, but WMR lost the path message over night. Crossing my fingers for some movement soon!

HI -Filed 1/29 claim 2 kids and a lottery win which they took 24% out of . that was the only thing new. 2/2 letter sent 2/13 received and faxed over gambling wagers and work wages. 2/14 went back to received your documents and back processing
2/23 went to ID verify which i thought it was just one verify we needed to do attempted online advised unable to assist called twice 2/23 and 2/27 no help was told wait 60 days from date of fax

NC had a where’s my refund page just Google it but on their site it says they won’t even start processing our returns until sometime in March.

Just thought I’d share. I’ve been stuck on 570 and 971 for almost 4 weeks with no movement, Wmr was stuck on path. I checked this morning still have 570/971 but Wmr changed from path to we have received your refund and it is being processed. So maybe this is hope

I really feel like it was because I reported my 401k withdrawal trying to do the right thing. I am really upset y’all. I know multiple people who withdrew as well. It has been the same for the last 2 Fridays.
Ine thing is none of the dates have been extended so not sure if this a good sign. The first couple of weeks after I filed in 122, the dates were extending out but have stayed the same. We look forward to our refunds, this sucks
