Wow that is unfortunate to hear. 180 days. I don’t know what’s going on with the IRS. I’m seeing 570 codes now in the forum. I hope for the both of us it is something that can definitely be resolved before 6 months. I spoke with three reps and the last two I do not believe they knew what they were talking about. Just trying to get me off the phone. Maybe the rep saying 6 months is standard because she has no clue what to say.

I’ve gotten it twice over the last 2 days, once in the 2024 Tax Season general topics (I don’t recall exactly which topic under that) and yesterday in the State Returns – South Carolina topic. Both times I was able to click “back” and submit it again without issue.

I filed 2/3 through turbo tax, no movement until 2/6. It was rejected on 2/6 and I resubmitted that day and still no movement. Stuck on pending.

My refund was just updated and it said the same exact thing as yours with the 810 code effective 1/31. When I called the rep told me she doesn’t see anything being sent out so just wait minute to see if it changes. If it doesn’t she said it can take up to 180 days and they may ask me for documentation to provide for my credits.

As of today 2/9…my transcript updated over night with 150, codes etc. It went from 2/19 as of date until 2/26. But all my 2023 on irs are now filled in. Ummm 05 cycle. I’m guessing that dd will update tomorrow. Usually mine would on Saturday and it’ll be deposit mid of next week. Again Usually. For the past few years it has. Just wanted to share.

Update to previous post….transcripts shows refund date of 2/14..its exactly 21 days from return accepted/recieved.

So I filed 1/18, was accepted 1/19 and on 2/2 the only update I’ve seen is on WMR (“Still Processing” prompt) and the account transcripts. My as of date is 2/12, and everything in the wage and account transcripts is blank still. the 2 top transcripts still say n/a.

My question is, I’ve been clicking around my IRS profile and saw today that I had a notification stating that they needed to verify my tax return information. I have paperless notifications set up and so far nothing has come to my email. I’ve also not received a letter. Could this have just popped up today? I’m not sure if it’s just something I’ve missed that’s been there for a while or not.

Also, has anyone else gotten something like this? How long did it take to clear up?

I filed 1/21 and I’m guessing accepted same day. All of my transcripts show for 2023. I just don’t have a DDD or the 846 code. I paid fees out of refund and usually get mine the evening before my ddd through H&R Block on the emerald card.

Code 570 is a hold on the tax return
It can fix itself, or they may require more info from the person. Its a delay basically.

Account Transcripts has everything on it (regular codes) besides the 846. code (should pop on there next Friday. Which would give me a release date of 2/21). I paid fees upfront and usually get my refund 4 or 5 days early which would make my actual deposit 2/16 or 2/17.

150 I think is just a generic tax return received code.

My WMR updated this morning to PATH message. So I guess I sit here until PATH lifts… I’ll probably still check every day to make sure no bad codes show up on my transcript.
