I’m seeing the same thing. I was accepted on the 30th and so many other people accepted the same day are getting updated. Hopefully I get updated too

The bottom line is this, your return is being processed, whether you can see your status updates or not. I can also tell you from experience that if you e-filed, and if you’re using automatic deposit, the process is very fast, especially for government work. Most of the time mine has been in the bank within 2 weeks after e-filing, but as it states on the site, most are in within 21 days. I don’t remember any of mine taking even that long.

So I filed 2/2 no eic this year was accepted same day, within minutes actually. State just paid me this morning but absolutely nothing on federal lvl with transcripts, its like they haven’t even started on mine yet. Also its the quickest ever for me for state

A user reported SOFI bank rejecting deposits due to TPG coding the transaction wrong and sending it as a business account deposit instead of a personal account deposit which you will have to wait months to receive a deposit from the IRS

Lots of us are having issues with WMR being down. I made a post about it earlier, and alot of people are experiencing the same issue. I have a gut feeling that the IRS is doing a ginormous update. Stay calm, hopefully we all have some food news today concerning our refunds!

Irs2go has been working for me (tells me my return has been accepted and is being processed), then suddenly it tells me I’m not entering correct info. I’m doing this from memory, but it seems to me that last year this happened between stages. In other words the status was in the process of changing to the next step. Either that, or the system is overwhelmed.

I know I only filed 5 days ago, but this morning WMR switched to “Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available.” Still have regular bar, tax topic 152, and nothing showing on IRS website that I need to verify or anything. Transcripts still show N/A, 2023 is listed for wages but nothing there when I click on it. I am usually a daily.

Hoping that’s just it, they’re still processing – I did only file 5 days ago. Always makes me nervous. Has anyone else had WMR switch to this message?

Just wanted to see if everyone that filed the same time as me is in the same boat. Each year I file on 2/10 and normally my DDD is the earliest available with PATH filers. Transcripts still show n/a this morning, nothing list under wages for 2023. Do transcripts usually update once per day, or can they update at anytime? I’ve been a daily the past few years. Is the mass update supposed to be tonight, or was it last night?

Is anyone else experiencing the app being down this morning? I’ve also checked their website for my refund as well as called the 800 number and all of them are down. Today is the day they said it’ll be processed for ppl who filed tax credits and today I check and it’s all down!! I’ve read others’ messages and a lot of you say it never takes this long. I concur! It always took about 2-3 weeks from filing date. I filed on 1/29! Can anyone help? Anyone else having this problem? What’s going on??

Try to stay calm. I really think it’s just IRS doing such a major update that it’s crashing. Plus, I’m sure lots of tax payers are trying to check their WMR & probably transcripts as well. So, I think most of us are ok, they’re just getting everything up to par and probably starting early on updates. Hopefully by this afternoon we should be able to see what’s happening on WMR. I’m weekly as well and accepted the same day as you. My as of has been sitting on 2/19 since being accepted. If your cycle code has 05 at the end that means you’re weekly, however you’ll be going off of last year’s transcripts if you have no movement for this year.

I’ve been 05 for at least the past 3 years but I don’t know if it’s changed.

You’re not receiving a refund status error message. You’re being looped back to the information input screen because the fetch request for your status page can’t be completed. Don’t stress. An error message regarding your tax situation would appear on the page that is *not* loading right now, and will be readily apparent :)

If you no longer see the PATH message then path has been lifted on your account. That’s for daily’s. Weeklies will get an update tomorrow on its transcript then WMR update Saturday. Not all weeklies will, it obviously depends on the individual return.

Hi all! Filed 2/2 accepted 2/2. Riding the PATH wave but I just checked transcripts and the top 2 boxes finally have 2023. My account transcript isn’t filled in yet but earlier today it was completely blank and now that’s not the case so I guess they are working on it!

I’m in ny and I also received a message today that my state will be deposited 2/16. It’s what made me check my transcripts again.

I’ve posted previously that I’ve had no movement on transcript’s since being accepted 1/29.. just blanks & n/a’s.
The only thing that HAS changed is my ‘As of’ date… I know this is just an estimation for irs processing & can change multiple times.
If my As of date changed from 2/12 to 2/26 last Friday, does that mean I am a weekly? Just curious if that date can change with no cycle code association or if it’s a clue as to what my cycle code is? I’m grasping at straws at this point :(

It means the IRS has sent you out a letter regarding changes on your return. It should give you instructions on what to do next. If you have a refund it was probably put on hold although I would think you would see that code as well. If you don’t It may mean you owe or they need more information to complete processing your return.
