Filed 2/10 (PATH) – WMR switched to this on Thursday. Acct transcript change to 2023 yesterday, but still says no return filed. Top two still N/A. No notices, no alerts about needing to verify. So concerned, I’ve never had an issue before.

Just woke up to another verify statement on wmr. Transcripts are still NA (top) blank (bottom). I’ve always been weekly, so now I’ve got to wait until next week to see what exactly is going on. My as of date is 2/19 (holiday and irs closed) and has stayed that way since beginning. Saw someone with a wmr verify request say they already go their deposit? This is year taxes are turning out crazy.

WMR just updated with a topic number 151, which from what I’m reading is a random review for fraud with a reference #1242. I know now it is probably that gambling income. I never received whatever form they send out for it and it is from multiple sites. Annoying. Here I am being honest and I get reviewed for it. My friend never reports her winnings and she has won more money than me. lol. I swear the system is backwards. Not that I would wish a review on her. I’m just saying.

Man I hope this happens to me! My wmr does NOT show I need to verify ID but our transcripts are blank as well. No cycle date or anything. Online account says we need to verify before they can process but my wmr has never stated that and never went to path message either. It’s been over three weeks since we’ve filed and we have not gotten a letter to do so. I’m going insane trying to figure out what the heck is going on!

DDD 2/22. Credit karma with advance and fees taking out. I don’t think you’ll get it early. Probably a day before or the exact date. Last yr I got it the exact date but it came at night after like 8pm 🤦🏾‍♀️

Got accepted 1/19. I got the advance thru credit karma tho. I’m a pather as well. 846 code appeared and the date next to it is 2/22/24. Idt I’ll be getting it at that time since I got the advance and paid my taxes with my federal.

My tax transcript has cycle code. 20240705 dates for 03/04/24. I got a notice in the mail 02/13/24 from the IRS stating that they will the review the accuracy of my tax return. the IRS notice is not reflected on my transcript, but the WMR shows still processing delay message. will the 570 code go away? is 03/04/24 when I get my return?

I am a PATHer with CTC and EITC. Accepted with TT on 1/18. This year was going to be a pain in a$$ I thought bc the past 3 weeks I had a notice on WMR, and it said IRS was reviewing my refund and to protect me from identity fraud and process my refund faster, I needed to verify my identity. I made an ID.me acct and assumed I was waiting on a letter, but today my 2023 transcripts finally came up and it had code 846 for DDD 2/22! Woo hoo!

This could be because you filed in between acceptance dates or because you filed during a very busy time. IRS Transcript Code 570 doesn’t mean you are being audited or any other negative reason.

The IRS explains TC 570 means a freeze code has been placed on the account that holds the refund from being issued.
One of the reasons why this code could have been placed on your tax transcripts is if you submitted your tax return with missing income statements or any reason they want to delay it. Could be bad luck ….

971 then 570 with same dates means adjustment (your refund amount changed) and should update. 570 then 971 with different dates (your refund amount did not change) means a hold and may not update as quickly.

What was your WMR saying today? Mine was IiD verify blah blah for a week or so and overnight went to Tax Topic 152 or normal and transcripts are saying 570 and 971 which I think is just a normal delay thing . I checked and no letter coming under my dashboard @IRsSite

Pather filed and accepted with no fees 2/8. My account transcript updated this am with just a 971 and no other info. My top two are na and my wage says no record of return filed. Thankfully there is no 570 code. I’m a weekly so I’m hoping for an update next Friday. Still I’m stressed

I am a weekly pather and my transcripts did not update. I too have the 570 code and called the IRS who informed me that I had a letter sent 2 days ago and it can take an additional 60 days. Last time this code appeared 6 years ago on my records I filed in February and did not get my refund until August. Good luck everyone

No update for a DD to my emerald card. When my state deposited the phone system stated there was a pending deposit with the date it will post. I’m told H&R no longer uses SBTG and uses pathward bank now. I tried calling pathward and the phone system couldn’t locate my SS# so I’m in the blind. Hopefully pathward is faster than SBTG or we won’t get refunds until the 21st or 22nd

Yeah, I think most people should just keep an eye on their bank account, because I think WMR is just off this year- even more so than usual.

I have followed these boards for a few years. We’ve never had any real issues until this year. Our wheres my refund states we need to verify our ID. Yesterday I went on to see if I could see transcripts and they are blank. Today at 4pm our deposit posted. I’m not complaining but very confused. The bars are gone and it states we will need to verify. Very confusing!!!

Since TurboTax started doing the advance, I’ve only had it come early by four days twice normally, it’s one to two days early or at midnight on ddd fees taken out

I checked my transcripts on my IRS account and they’ve populated with a code 846 with a refund scheduled for 2/22. Assuming WMR is not up to date

MD state refund approved with a DDD by Tuesday.

If you got a advance it will deposit the day of or day after your ddd. If no advance or fees today/tonight. Early deposit for CK is for those that didnt take advance or had fees take out… BUT if its just fees you could see it a day early not sooner

Hey, I had a similar issue. My WMR had a little different notification, but ultimately it was that IRS was reviewing my refund, and in order to protect my identity and to process faster I need to verify my identity. It’s been up there for 3 weeks and I did ID.me but thought I was waiting for letter. Oddly enough today my transcripts updated to 846, refund issued 2/22. So, pls check your transcripts and WMR in the AM and hopefully this will happen to many others! Good luck!

My husbands account transcript says married filing separately. We filed joint and my account transcript says n/a
IRS accepted our return 2/12
He does owe a bit of back taxes, and had previously filed mfs…
He also has a notice “subject to tax collections” with a date of 03-04-2024
Does that mean if we get our refund BEFORE that date we will get it? It’s a minimal amount ($300) and our refund is 14k so regardless we are going to pay it. Just wondering what to expect!

Although WMR said IRS was reviewing my return and that they want to protect my identity and so on, my transcript updated today to code 846 refund issued 2/22. Very odd, but I won’t question it! I hope this happens to many more people, so they don’t have to wait!
