@Queen since you filed on the 2nd, your 21 days will be up this coming friday so you can contact the IRS on monday to ask questions if you do not get any updates this week. at that point by law they have to tell you what the hold up on your return is and what to do to correct it.

@Queen a lot of people seemed to have had that update on WMR which just sounds like the system reflecting the time period from when you filed. i would not look too much in to it because there will be two big updates this week. overnight tuesday and overnight thursday so most likely either wed or fri you will see your transcripts and more accurate info.

typically, I have my fees taken from my refund and its always SBTPG. I never 1 time got my refund early that way. Always on the exact DDD. This year I paid the fees up front, thank God. I been reading the stories about the bank issues. Thats awful.

I too received the dreaded code 570 on Friday with an as of date of 3/4. My husband takes IRA distributions but they’re regular distributions, not early withdrawal. We filed with taxslayer and when I just checked I saw that 4a is blank, while 4b has the distribution amount listed. We’ll have to wait to see if that’s the issue.

It’s always the same drama with SBPTG … In 11 years of filing and using SBTPG, there was only 1 year where there was a depositing issue and it was resolved within 24 hours. Today’s a bank holiday. I wouldn’t worry about your deposit unless it isn’t in your account by the 22.

Hi I have the same message for my account balance for 2023 but no movement on my transcript at all. No codes or anything still show no return field but my balance for 2023 2/18 says
If you requested an adjustment to your account your information will not be available until that transaction is complete. so I am hoping that means they are truly processing because on Friday 2/16 it said for balance no return filed but I am hoping when it says 0.00 it’s completed

I went back and checked my transcripts and emerald card transactions mine comes the day before every year of the DDD and I get fees taken out my refund. I have not come across any other emerald card users who has gotten theirs early

I just got off the phone with the supervisor Tin she advised me that she assures as long as your information is correct they will be accepting refunds so let’s hope for the best

I got a ddd for 2/22 my bank is police and fire. I didn’t get an advance and I have eic and atc so I most likely won’t see mine until the 22nd I never get lucky! But wmr says I should receive it “by” the 22nd so could I get it before then ? Like tomorrow Tuesday ?

When you go under the help tab and look at their Holiday closings Presidents day is not on there.

It can be the day after. I’ve had it happen. Typically you’ll get it the day before or on but there is a possibility for the day after.

We are not trolls and posted information directly from their Facebook page… images. current. not outdated. We also acknowledge that people are getting told different information via chat and calling in. I would be worried too with all the different information. Just because you heard what you want, doesn’t make it true or us trolls or us wanting people in misery.

We want people to know what the hell is going on. And it seems nobody knows because people are being told different things. I hope it all goes well. But we started this based on the Chime official comments on FB. They don’t have their customer service reps, whether on chat or the phone or on FB all on the same page.

Why would chime offer a sweepstakes for having your taxes deposited into the account knowing 8 out of 10 people get their fees taken out through sptg. I have called customer service and I also spoke w/ someone via chat and there will be no issues with the deposits as long as your account information provided on your tax forms are correct. Stop stressing people and stop letting these trolls get to you. They just wanna see you panic.

I made it to the 570 club.
I filed with TT on 1/29. I was accepted soon as I filed. My transcripts didn’t fill out until 2/14 and I have 570 code with 0.00. I have no offsets. Friday my WMR went to the PATH message and it’s still on the message. I am a daily 04.

I was accepted on 2/2 and I’m stuck on path message and transcripts on top are N/A bottom have 2023 “no record of return filed”… I really don’t understand how was he approved before me??? I’m in sort of the same situation but mine has to do with PA unemployment. They weren’t technically supposed to offset my tax return since I have a non-fault claim with them. It was just a few days before I filed a fault but got reversed after I spoke with them.

@lmc8490 it’s nice when others are in the same boat. I mention box 4a/b because I had 401k withdrawals/contributions. 4a/b are correct & unfortunately 5a is missing but 5b is correct. You would think w/ the fees TT charges they keep making simple mistakes. Ive had a 570, it did fix itself, not til the date that was next to it & I didn’t get my refund until 2 weeks later. Pray it’s fixed before 3/4.

I was having issues with an offset that was to be a non-fault after an appeal hearing 2 years ago. Somehow it got switched to a fault overpayment and after that l, just last year, pa unemployment sent the offset to the Treasury TOP program to go after my tax refund.

Before I filed my tax return I got in contact with PA UC and was able to have it switched back to a non-fault.

I have all non-fault/non-fraud offsets showing. Pa technically only goes after fault and fraud claims.

I filed my tax return on 2/7 and everything was going smooth until just after midnight early today. I’m getting a message 203 in my WMR saying it could be offset. (My UC is still showing non-fault/non-fraud).

Can anyone tell me what my best course of action is to get this cleared up before my DDD which is on 2/23 and if it does get offset, my best coarse of action at that point also?

I’ve used hr block for over 10 years and emerald card. I’ve never gotten my deposit until midnight on my ddd if that helps.

@Elizabeth The part about box 5a and 5b came from the online thread. Apparently someone had this same issue last year and it was that box 5a was blank when both 5a and 5b should’ve been filled in — which is exactly my issue this year. They said it resolved itself within a week with a 571 and the return transcript updated with 5a filled in. Line 5 may not be applicable in your case if both 4a and 4b are filled in; they may just be verifying the calculations.

@Elizabeth My co-workers and I were talking about how unusual this tax season is going and I mentioned the 570 issue. All 4 of us withdrew from our 401k for the first time last year after a company merger so we all filed with a 1099-R this year and we all have a 570 (one has a 971 as well). I did some online searching and came across a whole thread of folks in the exact same boat so it can’t just be a coincidence with the 401k folks.

@quinnby the IRS already released it. They are not going to send an ACH the night before or it will not make it to your account on the DDD. The bank that handles the filing fees already have the $ and they are the ones that release it on the DDD

Ppl are saying the same thing about Chime and SBTPG but I’m not going to believe it or worry about it til that happens. This will be my third tax season with Chime and SBTPG and last I checked, banks aren’t in the habit of rejecting ACH transfers. Good luck to all!!!!

Go to their FB page and look in comments under the scam post/ Twitter page as well they’ve spoken on it. I was told they’re sending them back. They’re telling everyone different things. Alls you can do is wait until your DDD then see of it comes.
