Same same. Msg came up on WMR and IRS account to verify on 1/27. Here we are a month later. I haven’t received the 2 letters they sent. They will NOT let me verify online or phone. Transcripts blank, online notifications blank. Nearest in-person verification place is 102 miles away. Seems like they are stalling. Something isn’t adding up here.

I would think you would see a transcript update overnight. I’m usually a weekly as well and see none of my transcripts but was told there was a letter sent out for me. There was a glitch for some that got their ddd today. I would think you were just in the next batch. I’m hoping they were wrong and I update too 😂 we will see!

Since I haven’t seen one for us 2/9 people im making this to see what’s up! Filed 02/09, accepted within 3 minutes after filing using Tax Slayer. WMR says “return is being processed” with 1 Bar. IRS.gov account, no “notifications” of needing to verify, always have been a 05 cycle code. Last Friday, 2/16 is when both bottom Blank transcripts appeared. No other updates since then. Will see if we have anything new tomorrow morning. Had to put in a mail forward request at post office since I moved and IRS chose to use my old address on return. Just being prepared for if they send me a dumb letter, hopefully it doesn’t go there, although if you get that letter you will be processed with a DD shortly after so don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing. Unless it’s an audit letter you get.

The WMR and Transcripts can be updated anytime throughout the day. However, mass updates occur overnight between midnight and 6 am. If you’re a weekly the Mass update for transcripts is on Friday. And the Mass update for weeklies on WMR is on Saturday.

I filed and was accepted 1/29. I called on Tuesday 2/20 and was told I was selected for verification and to wait for a letter and that I could call back to see if it was sent out. Then I called today 2/22 and was on hold for about 20mins and was told there is no verify or letters being sent out in my account. I told her about the WMR and account notification about verifying but she said to disregard it for now because it is a generic response thousands of people got that ended up not needing to verify. Also, that she would see it on my account if I needed to actually verify. She also said my return was actually processed on 2/5 and that’s when my 21 days started. The agent said my account was selected for further review but by the 26th it’s supposed to be finished processing and by the 27th I should see an update. But if there’s no update or further action required, I have to call again to see what needs to be done. I’ve been able to see my bottom 2 transcripts but as of today, my account transcript is gone. My transcript had no updates though, just said no return filed (no codes that notices were sent, totally blank)

Idk if anyone else is in the same boat or have heard the same response so I’m wondering if it’s true or another agent just trying to get me off the line.

My previous tax year cycle code is 05 and I’ve always been a weekly, so I’m hoping for an early update tomorrow or Saturday.

Same situation here. Got a delayed message a few days ago, been 22 days now. No EIC, ACTC. Just a normal return with 2 kids (same for the last 12 years now). I’ll probably call tomorrow if transcripts haven’t updated but at this point, I’m not holding my breath.

I filed with H&R Block in Jan 21st. I have a 150 code with an as of date 3/4 everything else is like it is supposed to be except I now have the 570 code with a date of 3/4. I have taken nothing out of 401. The only thing I have done differently this year is a used my AOTC (education credit) which I did not use in previous years.

Have the dreaded 570 code with 3/4 date and 0.00. Today updated with 971 code and date of 3/11. I did take a 401 k early withdrawal. Filed and accepted on 1/29.. From what I’m seeing and hearing I’m thinking that most of the delays are because of the 1099 forms. Waiting to see what the letter actually says.

I am in the same boat as everyone else on here. 570 with no other codes. Never had this happen before and my tax return has been the same for several years. I am hoping the update tonight works in everyone’s favor. When I spoke to someone at the IRS the other day I was told they could not tell me anything and that I had to wait 45 days from 3.4.24 for them to be able to do something. So the IRS is giving conflicting info so who knows what to believe.

Hi. I have a DDD of 2/22 (today). I bank with Capital One 360, and I haven’t received anything yet.
I know they can be weird and post things late in the morning or in the middle of the evening so I am holding out hope. Has anyone with CapOne 360 received their refund?

Feeling frustrated. No updates on IRS account as of yet, no letters in mail. Contacted IRS advocate who told us we couldn’t request help until JULY. Utterly ridiculous. @marcamante there should be another update coming overnight tonight or overnight tomorrow so either tomorrow or saturday you may see an update. some are dailies and some are weeklies and if you did not update overnight last night, i am leaning you might be a weekly so you should see something with the update either tonight or tomorrow night. normally it would be tonight but with the federal holiday on monday, everything got delayed a day.

@Sumbeach That trace # is created by ACH. So, if you have a trace #, they have sent it to your bank. You’ll just have to wait for your bank to release it to you. That trace # cannot be created without funds being sent.

Looks like I’m in the same boat. Filed 1/28, accepted 1/29. Transcript is showing 150, 806, 766, 768 and then the 570 with date of 3/4/24 and $0.00. Cycle is 20240705. what does that mean? Processing date shows 3/4/2024. Does that mean it will process on that date? I do have two dependents, and usually their father claims one child but I claimed both this year as he passed away. This is not the first time I’ve claimed both. Nothing else has changed in the last few years.

Good morning all! I checked WMR and received the message:
We apologize, but your return processing has been delayed beyond the normal timeframe.
I filed 2/1/23 via TT, EIC and ACTC. I called today since it’s the 21st day. They said I was randomly selected for additional review. They said if I don’t receive anything in 2 weeks to call back. My IRS account shows no 2023 return filed. No notifications or letters mailed and my transcripts are blank except an as of date of 2/26 (which doesn’t mean anything. Super frustrated. Anyone else experience this? Nothing has changed on my return for the last 10 years….
