Has anyone using form 8863 gotten two bars on WMR or gotten a DD date?

we were accepted the 26th. The last few days it’s been the generic msg of 21 days blah blah. checked a little bit ago and said it can’t be found? Anyone have the same problem and what does it mean? Did i lock myself out of WMR?

Awesome! Now whats the difference between a “return” and an “account” transcript?
I ordered the “return” transcript sucessfully. I didn’t even try the account one.

What’s the point in ordering a transcript? What does it mean if I am able to order my transcipt?

I filed 1/18, accepted through H&R block online 1/30 – WMR and irs hotline still says processing but I went and ordered a transcript for 2012 and it worked just fine and said it was successful. Does that mean my return was accepted? and it won’t mess or delay with my refund by ordering one hopefully!

I filed using taxact on 01/31 and was accepted in less than 5 minutes. Hadn’t even logged out yet. As of now WMR and 800# still says processing and I am unable to order transcript for 2012. I do not believe it has anything to do with who you used to efile, I believe this is an IRS issue.

The only way I was able to get the reps to look up my information was by telling them that I received an error coded as a duplicate return on the wmr website. She actually told me that they just recieved my return today and did not have a status yet. Although it showed as I was processing yesterday on the wmr site. I will give them a call tomorrow to see if I can gather more info.

Same here guys, still processing. I have seen a few 23ers with a DD date of 2/6. Not sure if that helps but so far most with the same acceptance date have the same DD date. Finger crossed!

Finally have some answers today. I was able to get up and order transcripts of both return and account. I could only do it over the phone, not on the web. I also could only get them to go through with my husband’s information and not mine. I think because he’s the primary. Called the IRS and told them I couldn’t pull anything up with WMR. She gave me the whole 21 days yadda yadda. She then said she was curious to see what she could pull up so she asked all my information and put me on hold. She came back and restated the 21 days thing and then told me she had my account pulled up. She told me that I have an offset, which I already knew, so depending on that amount (she couldn’t see the amount), I might not even get a refund. I told her the amount of the offset is drastically less than my refund amount, so she said well, we have the amount at $xxxx and a direct deposit date of 2/6. I will get a deposit on that date of the balance.

i was accepted on 1/29. called the irs a little bit ago because irs2go phone app wouldnt let me access it anymore and it gave me a number to call, talked to a lady and my wife had a small offset but got a direct deposit date of 2/6, oh and ordered a return transcript and phone/wmr still says processing when it does work.

@ johnf Okay I also got that submission # to it just a number that is recorded in taxact database that let them and you know that your return was accepted..If you call them you can give them that number and they can look up your accepted recorded that all that is..but i know that the WMR web site is having problems..I do taxes and I have been trying to look up my clients info to tell to let them know something..This year is surly going to be different then other years that we may have filed before..we will have to be strong in wait…I understanding waiting is hard to do when you need something..but i say give it a day then call the IRS..that what I was going to do..but reading some of these blog make me want to call now… JOHNF it going to be okay try calling today and see if they can tell you something!!I wish you the best of luck—Mrs.Simmons

Accepted 1/25 – WMR still shows processing – I was able to order both transcripts around 1AM US Eastern on Friday, February 1, 2013. I am going to try the hotline on lunch. I’m not understanding how someone else got accepted on the 27th and already got DD today. It’s obviously still now FIFO how it was stated.

So heres my story, I am hoping to either shed light or have someone shed light for me please cuz I am confused.. Filed with taxact on 1/19 saw on the taxact site I was accepted on the 27th however I didnt get an email until late Monday night the 28th.. been in processing ever since, called IRS yesterday nice man said still processing that they got it on the 27th but didnt actually get it until the 28th (whatever that means) so ok but when gave them my address he said do you have a po box, which we do but used street address on return so was confused about that ( we moved last year and our forwarding address was our po box so I guess thats how they got it) so last night I finally was able to order the transcripts but with the po box, ok odd I thought why wouldnt they change it to our street address when thats whats on our return…but they let me order it so ok..then this morning after it still just says processing I went on to see what it would say if I tried to order transcripts again ( ok I am a nut) and this time it let me use my street address as what is on my return, and when I tried the PO box it said not a matching address. However it then said you already ordered these so you cant order again. So I guess its good it let me do it this morning with my correct address, but it must have been almost done last night being it let me do it, but with old address? IDK what to think… my other thing I would like to point out is I got a submission number when I filed. A few people I know who filed and atleast got a DD date all had DCN numbers (?) like they all have dashes in between there numbers which mine were all a stream of numbers. Just thought that was odd also. Any words of wisdon or hope. I am stressing out. A single father of 2 with full custody working my you now what off to make ends meet and I could really use the $$ to play catch up. SO I did file HOH eic, etc..

Has anyone who filed after 01/29/13 had their return accepted by the IRS? I filed with HRB (and of course had the form 8863) and it seems as though the IRS Hasn’t even accepted my return from HRB…it is still pending on the HRB website and cannot be found in the IRS system.

I also heard that a lot of 1/30er’s that are still in processing if you call the IRS they will give you a DD date of 2/6 even if WMR says still processing. I can’t personally vouch for this since I refuse to call them. But give some people a little hope :)

I am a 1/25er and I was able to order my transcripts last night but Where’s My Refund (WMR) still says processing. I called the 1-800# talked to a Mr. Frank who was very nice asked me all my return info SS# and filing status and then said please hold while i open your return he then came back he std that they have my refund and it is being processed.I do believe that the reps do know whats going on with your return but cant say so, I then asked about transcripts for 2012 cause i was finally able to order them last night when the days before i wasnt, he then went on to say that if my transcripts were able to be ordered last night give it another 24-48 hours and I should have a DD date. He did confirm that if you tried to order transcripts before and it said none were on file and a couple days later like me it says that you will recieve them in 7-10 buis days that the taxes are in deed done but there is no DD date yet. He did say that they are updating Where’s My Refund (WMR) every 24 hours including weekends sat and sunday. Hope this helps someone who is in the same boat as me

I filed yesterday. I also filed one a few days before that with the 8863, but that one was still pending and TaxACT said they hadn’t even sent it yet. I deleted the 8863 and refiled and was accepted fairly quickly. Still waiting on approval though.

Woke up to check WMR only to find the same 21 day message…
Called the 1800 number and spoke to a nice guy about if I had an offset or not. While on the phone I asked the status and was finally giving some good news!!

I can order my return transcripts for this year and also the account transcripts. I am hoping that is a good sign. The WMR site tells me I am still processing and so does the 800 number. I was hoping to get good news when I logged on this morning. I called the IRS and was told that there is no way anyone has a DD yet because they just opened on the 30th. She also completely refused to look up my information for me because it takes three weeks to process. I was hoping she could give me some kind of information and the only thing she told me was that Thursdays are when WMR and the 800 line update.

I filed with Turbotax on the 24th and was accepted late in the evening on the 28th. I just got a DD this morning of 2/5 and if refund is not there by the 2/10 to check with the bank.

Ordered my transcripts today and was able to do that but still no DD date.
Will get paid DD through SBBT so I’ll keep everyone posted. I’m hoping I get DD on Monday or Tuesday. But since I’m in Ohio and SBBT is in California I’m guessing the time difference may delay me a day :(
