my theory is they are going to take the taxes they have on hold already that they did accept like mine on the 24th(8863 yes)or jarons mothers and use us as test dummies and if they go through we will have our return in 3 days direct deposit couple weeks papercheck.or if you filed later and just held in longo they will tell you a couple weeks.
i filed with TT on 1/28 and got accepted on 1/29.
i also have checked the WMR site and got all the same problems everyone else seems to be getting with the status saying “processing” and “you may have entered your information incorrectly”
after searching the web on this problem i found this Forum, and got some hope when i found this topic because everyone else was having the same problems as me.
i checked the WMR site this morning around 2 a.m. and it said “processing” then i checked this morning about 6 a.m. thinking the site has not updated yet and of course it still said “you may have entered your information incorrectly” so i decided to call the 1800 number and checked the status on there.
It gave me a DD date of 2/6! finally got an answer :D so i’m happy i was worried i entered something wrong and thats why i got the Processing updates…Woo the groundhog brought me luck. I have now joined the 2/6 DD group. If it goes as usual, it will go in late on 2/5.

still no DD on either mine or my fiance’s return both were accepted on the 31st
Filed on 1/29 accepted on 1/ 31 no email no text.from hrb been going to wmr and its been processing since the 30th I’m wondering what the hell is going on

I just got an update on WMR..direct deposit set for 2/6. They are moving. I ordered my transcript 2/1 and wand was processing. Be patient they are coming
Filed 1/28/13 through HRB. I had the fees taken out and dd into bank account. I was accepted 1/30/13. At first I had a bar showing processing but then the bar disappeared. Yesterday I was able to order transcripts but wmr said I could not be found all day. This morning I checked wmr and…. dd if 2/6!!! I hope this gives other people some hope
Just got the DD of 2/6 as well, was able to order transcripts late last night.
I filed on 1/22. I was accepted on 1/26. As of 6:30 a.m. CST, WMR shows a DD for 2/6.
My filing status was Married (Joint) with 2 children with EIC. I did not have any other forms.

I was accepted on the 30th and had been processing since then since yesterday..all day yesterday it said I couldnt be found but this morning I have two orange bars and I have a DD date of 2/6 :) I had a simple return through HRB online with EIC and child tax credit

Filed 1/12 HRB online. Accepted 1/30. I was processing 1/30,1/31, and 2/1 and finally updated to this:
We have received your tax return and it is being reviewed. You will receive a notice from us requesting additional information within 30 calendar days. You may not receive all or part of your refund until we receive and review the information we requested. If you need more information after you receive our notice, call the number on the notice.
Please do not contact us until you have received the notice as we are unable to take any action until then.@jarons mother is that a projected date for deposit or processing?? Looking at another post they said the IRS will send them through on the 11th and refunds will go out for them starting a few weeks after that. I truly hope not!

WMR said processing all week. Ordered RETURN transcripts 2/1. WMR updated 2/2 to tell me the following: We have received your tax return and it is being reviewed. I had to finally call IRS yesterday to get someone to tell me my DD was 2/6 as the processing bar hasnt budged…logged into WMR at 4:30am 2/2 and got the actual DD of 2/6 with the orange bar sitting at refund approved….. I was accepted on 1/23 and filed through Taxact. Will let ya know when I get my actual DD in bank as I have Suntrust and they are slow as hell posting ACH, my DD payroll is usually credited at about 4 in the morning on the day it supposed to be in there.
I filed 1/26 Accepted 1/27 DD of 2/4 but my refund is in my account this AM :)

seems to be no rhyme or reason of processing order this year, i have no DD yet FYI
Hello everyone! I’ve been following for a few days now.. rather anxious this year, as last year my return got caught up in a handful of different messes and it took a tax advocate and a few months before I saw any money!
So, here is my story, and I promise to keep you updated as best as possible…Filed initially through TT on 1/24. Had form 8863. sat in processing, not rejected or accepted… decided to go elsewhere w/o 8863.
Filed through HR (free edition) without 8863 on 1/30 around lunch time.. accepted about 3 hours later.
I have been stuck on bar one, with generic 21 day processing msg ever since. Not able to order transcripts as of 2am(est) on 2/2.
I have a simple return, 2 w2, 1099, child tax, and EIC..I have been in “processing” since the 30th. I think I (think) was able to order transcrpits, it said they were being mailed to me. Should I hve been able to view it at that point?? I’m a lil confused….too many ways for the irs to tell u absolutely nothing.ugh!

okay I guess it is good news that I am able to order my return transcript as of 2:20 est… I have no freaking clue what it means…. but i hope its good news… and yes I am a 8863 accepted 23rd hope this helps
Hi All! I filed (free-file..no fees) on 01/27 and was accepted on 01/30. I have the first bar filled since 01/31.
Tried to order transcripts at 5pm today and couldn’t so Im gonna wait till mornkng and try again. BTW the WMR updated to the first bar for me on 01/31 between 8pm and 11pm. So who knows exactly what time they update.
Good Luck to all of us waiting!I was accepted on the 26 but every time I check wmr it says I was accepted but they are processing it but the bottom says last updated January 30 and I already have an account with sbbt but its not saying when either but I heard that they open your account right before you’re about to get it.. Can somebody help me out please!! I think I might be locked out of wmr for checking too much but I got exited cause turbo tax got me accepted early lol!!!!
When I spoke with the irs rep I was told 8863 form filers should start being sent through on the 11th. If all checks out and there isnt any flags that refunds will go out for them starting a few weeks after that.
I acct 1/30 and b4 when I checked my ttyl site it allways said that my fees where still owed and when I checked earlier it said that they r paid but wmr still says processing I’m hoping my wmr just hasn’t updated for me yet. I have my $ dd into my sisters acct so mabe it already there I will find out tomorrow when I talk to her she sleeping now… this will b a rough night lol
Did u have your fees deducted or have the emerald card. I bet that message was h&r letting us know they got our refund and we have to wait on them to process them without actually saying it. I got the same message my fees are being deducted.
That message you received today was h&r letting you know they received your refund I bet you had your fees deducted from your return or having it loaded to the emerald card …..
Filed 1/27 with TaxHawk. Notified 1/29 about education credit delay. Removed 8863 and filed again 1/29. Accepted 1/31 @ 3:25 a.m. Still processing.
I efiled on 1/23 and my federal is still pending (of course)….BUT, my state taxes through GA were just accepted about an hour ago!!!! Thank the Lord!
Now, I’m just praying that they get the kinks worked out for the 8863 to be accepted through federal.I re- efiled after being rejected on the 30th… HR sent an email it was pending approval from the IRS here it is 2/2 and Its still pending… anyone know why the IRS wouldn’t have accepted or rejected it yet?
Filed on Jan 23 it was accepted on the 25. I still dont have a DD getting very annoyed. the only thing WMR says is its being processed. I did however order the transcripts but not sure if the rumor is true about that since i cant find any infor online.
I got the same email text combo as well. Maybe HRB text service is on the slow side of things? Last year it was way delayed as well.
Started getting this message on the phone hotline this morning. Haven’t been able to access WMR until now. Here is what I’m getting.
Filed 01/25/13 and paid for fees up from using TT. Basic return. Just 2 W2’s… no other forms.

I prepared and file my taxes on 1/7 taxact said the would it and submit when the IRS was ready. The IRS accepted my taxes on 1/23. Yesterday I checked the IRS website and it said my refund would be deposited into my account on 2/1. Republic bank called me and stated taxact was doing something different to prevent fraud so I had to verify my identity via email with a link from LexusNexus or whatever. Minutes later I received another email stating I successfully completed the ID test. My question is how long does Republic Bank usually holds your refund before they transfer it into your bank account.
mine was accepted, I see it on wmr and h&r website. I never got a single email or text though…? btw, those of u who don’t know,if u have the emerald card u can get refund info by caling number on back :)

I have two question
1. what is this transcript everyone is talking about? and can I have a link
2. if the recorded message says you should receive your refund within 21 days does that mean that the only thing holding us up is the 8863?I’m trying not to loose my mind here mainly because of my state i knew sunday about the hold up on the form.. but for some reason I haven’t been accepted (filed on the 12th) still awaiting acceptance… I called the treasury dept and can not get passed the automated bs… and it keeps telling me my AGI is wrong? is this happening to anyone else?
What exactly does accepted mean? I received the orange status bar saying IRS has received my refund on 1/31 at about 6pm. Still waiting on a dd, but the wmr system has been giving me the 21 day message all day today and no status bar no more. Whats up with that? Oh I filed through preparer on 1/29.
I got the same thing. Filed and was accepted on the 30th and I got the text today.. very weird.
Bummed because my daughters birthday is coming next week and I wanted to do something extra special for her. I hope it comes through.
Ms. Joy : I too got the same email regarding the delay. I’m not positive, but it may be the 1098-t form I filed.
Just figured everyone floating out there in cyberspace could get together here and update everyone when they receive their 2/6 deposit… my bank has no delays, I always get my DD for everything a day early. So if they are sending out refunds for 2/4 already as I’ve read, maybe we’ll get ours by Monday!

Filed 1/29 accepted 1/30 have been trying to order a transcript all day, an was finally able to about 5 minutes ago! Wasn’t able to an hour ago! Hopefully I have a DD date soon!
My file was accepted on the 30th as well. WMR and 800 number still saying processing. I was able to order both of my 2012 transcripts today. Does this mean that I am about to change on the WMR or does it not mean anything? I see some people say that they were accepted on the 30th and will get a refund on 2/4 and 2/7. Is this really true?
