Hey guys! So happy that people are receiving their stimulus checks! I was wondering though if anyone who has Wells Fargo has received it? I see a lot of posts about pending transactions and I’ve never seen that on my account?

Also something weird my friend posted on Facebook where she said her student loan accounts have been closed now! Another friend of hers posted that the same happened to her and she hadn’t touched it. And another said the same about his car loan. What the heck is happening and can it happen to me?! LOL

The good news is eventually we will all have answers to where our money went. I hate that this is happening but I am so relieved it’s a lot of Wells Fargo customers. This is HUGE! There is now an IRS number to call to speak to someone about your stimulus! There isn’t an option to speak to a live person just yet as I have sat on the line to report the issue with Wells Fargo, but there is hope here guys!

I am still in shock that this issue hasnt been taken care of. I see people stating they are getting mailed checks after failed attempts with the dd stimulus. Mine still says it was deposited a week ago and to check with my bank. WF offers no solutions. I have payments for the summer quarter of college coming up and this would have helped. I’m at a loss for words that some of us might just get screwed out of this because we bank with the literal shadiest bank in the country.

It took a while For IRS to provide a pymnt Date of May 6th for DD which never showed up in WF bank account. This morning revisited IRS now it states a check will be mailed May t5th! You might want to revist the IRS staus for some rason it changes!

I’m a Wells Fargo employee. We do not hold funds especially funds from the government. We have even implemented adding funds temporarily if the consumers account is negative so everyone can have their full stim check. If you have Wells and your check hasn’t come, it’s for other reasons —- don’t assume we just hold money from peeps c’mon!!!

Received 3400.00 from IRS in Wells Fargo checking on April 30 at 4:00 am Pacific. Married w/ two children under 17.

A little over two weeks turnaround which is actually lightning quick for the IRS. Regardless of complaints against them, they are getting this out quick and a lot faster than expected from Big Government.

Fact: Get my payment locks you out for 24 hours. Quit trying to check. The 24 hours does not reset at 12:00 am EST. It only resets a FULL 24 hours after your last attempt.

It sits in there system for like a day untill bookeekping sends it back. If u would have called the bank the 15th, they could have helped u prolly. e-filed my 2019 return on April 3rd and was accepted by IRS same day. The 10th I received my return direct deposited even tho wheres my refund hasn’t updated that the refund was sent, only approved.. I can log into the irs site. It says my payment was made april 15th. It still is not in my account and Wells Fargo has no answers as to why. You cannot contact the irs about it. Okay. For those who are either locked out or are getting an error message on the “Get My Payment ” tool. Apparently, what you need to do is type in your entire zip code. As in. 10705-1020. For example. Find out what are the last four digits of your corresponding Zip Code and you should be allowed to type in your banking information. I couldn’t believe it either but; it totally worked. You’re welcome!!

You didn’t file him so technically the IRS doesn’t know you’re married as of yet so I dont see any harm in your husband submit a non filer it wouldn’t hurt to try because we’re in a crisis and everyone that’s entitled should receive the relief.

@Austin the IRS is closed there are no phone representatives to speak with, the automated lines are still available. This is horrible for ppl bc my sister lost her IP pin and there’s no way for her to retrieve it because the online site just keeps looping her in a circle so she can’t even apply for her stimulus. The first time she did it, they sent her an email saying she needed her IP pin so it was rejected.

You have not entered the right information. Tomorrow make sure you double check all the information before you enter it into the system. If you try too many times it will make you wait 24 hours. Hope that helps. Make sure you know all of your tax info right down to the penny.

Unless you’re in their timezone, then it’s 12am, the reason why it’s 3am my time is because they go by west coast time I think, so 12 midnight over there is 3am over here

It’s gonna be based on your timezone, my deposits usually come at 3am, I’m in NC so that’s EST. It surprisingly came at 2:45am I just randomly checked for shits and giggles and it was there. They update accounts all the way until around 9am your time, so if you didn’t get it at 3am your time, keep checking throughout the morning

Last year when I had my taxes deposited in my Wells Fargo account I had my fees taken out from turbo tax. They were sent from the Santa Barbara bank a day before who sent to my bank right away and I had no pending deposit. It showed up at 3 in the morning the next day. Hope this helps

So can someone shed light on how the d/d system works in regards to pending transfers? Did the F/I’s actually get the funds earlier than the 15th? So the people who have got theirs early are their banks “loaning” them the funds a couple days early until it is actually received.? If the funds have already been received then those 2 or 3 days can add up to lots of interest.

Since there is no guarantee on who will or will not receive the stimulus, I check my bank account, that’s the only way to know whether I’m getting it or not. So seeing everyone else receive it and it not even showing pending on my account does bother me. Everyone I know with a credit Union account has received it. I’ve had DD for years and I’ve never received my pay a day early or has it ever showed as pending. After this I will definitely be using a different bank for DD.

Wells Fargo always releases deposits on the exact date given on the ACH Instructions, not a minute early lol that’s why I use Chime to get some of my paycheck early and the rest goes to my Wells Fargo account

Also, Wells Fargo does there account updates at 3am EST since they go by west coast time which is 12am over there, so check your accounts at 3am EST on the 15th, it should be there

No stimulus for us either but I did read yesterday that Wells Fargo is supposed to deposit stimulus checks the morning of the 15th. They said Chime and other virtual banks released checks first. My good friend has Woodforest and she woke up to hers in the bank. My mother has USAA and she got hers as well. It would make sense is WF is tomorrow. Maybe banks were instructed to follow a schedule? Not sure. Either way, I hope it finds you all well!

That’s the thing with Wells Fargo that’s different from other banks, they won’t even tell you if its pending. They say that they have no way of seeing. I had a separate incident where I needed assistance with a pending deposit and they claimed to have no way of seeing pending transactions. When I was with U.S. bank I could always see or call about pending deposits/transactions.

IRS deposited(sent to our banks) Last Wednesday. Traditional banks take longer to post it to our balance. Prepaid cards(DOT,BRINKS,ETC) and virtual Banks(CHIME,VARO,N26,TRANSFERWISE,ETC) most of those posted on Friday at 3pm in their accounts. WELLSFARGO holds our money for 7 days before releasing it to us.

Wells Fargo seems way to greedy and are not customer friendly in the least. I get SSDI and SSI regularly and they wait until the absolute last moment to give us access to our money even though they know four days ahead of time that the money is there.
