Wondering when people who use WMC and GD get their deposit. Hoping to see a few weekend and EARLY deposits.

My taxes info said it was sent to my bank on April 17, 2019 and it’s now May 2, 2019 and I still haven’t received my refund. I’m wondering when it will hit my card (if ever,)

I normally use this card for my payroll and from what i know the payroll doesnt show up before 3 idk if the same with state and federal refund as i havemt received either yet my ddd is 2/27 so we can only hope soon

Wont be using wmc next season!! Looks like NetSpend will be the carf for me next year. Kicking myself for not accepting not one netspend offer in the mail this year lol. No DD yet.

I agree @Randall, it’s a good guideline, but it definitely doesn’t have the full story. I know of two people who have posted already that even though they are using a Walmart Money Card they received their cash yesterday. Even more people are reporting receiving funds today with Green Dot cards. I don’t know how true and reliable it is, it is entirely based on each individual’s experience. One thing that is clear though is that NetSpend this year has gotten preferential treatment.

This article doesn’t take other factors into consideration, like fees removed from tax services and such, so it’s still a toss-up that may come down to specific micro factors.

If you read the article it is based solely on the behaviors of taxes this year. And yes, Walmart money card is owned by Greendot, but it seems to be depositing a different date then regular greendot Issued cards.

@djhasms on that link it shows Wal-Mart money card and green dot…with different info. But Wal-Mart moneycard is thru Green Dot…so that isn’t accurate. I’ve had my refund issued on a green dot card for the last 15 or so years. I’ve had it issued 2 days early a few times but normally comes night before or on DDD.

Other threads are reporting the DD’s being released in batches, which I believe because that seems to be how the updates rolled out too.

Someone mentioned IRS releasing funds daily at 2:30PST/5:30EST. If that’s the case it will be after business hours for WMC, but it should post tomorrow.

Used hrb to file my taxes but used my wmc to have the taxes routed to my checking account to my wmc. Also payed hrb fees upfront.

My pay day is on Thursday but with the wmc I get it on Tuesdays between 12-1 that afternoon.hopefully that will be the case for my 2/27 ddd today.sbtg shows nothing as of yet. I guess we’ll get it no later than Wednesday 😒
