Turbo Tax weirdness

We filed the 18th and were accepted the 19th, went the path act message one day last week…filed with eic and actc …the turbo tax time line did show the info as i stated above but this morning the TT timeline shows transmitted on 1/29 and then Accepted by irs on 1/19…DDD estimated 2/9… We figured we got in the test batch and the irs site was showing processing before it changed to the path message…i just wondered if anyone else had noticed a change in the transmitted date?

lol mine now says it was transmitted on 1/29 but accepted on 1/22 and still show 2/12 estimated date, last year I got it on 2/22 so expect it to be about the same this year

With TT the date is just estimated, which is 21 days out.

Same here, probably just a generic date. When I click on the question mark, the real date shows in the pop-up.

You might be right about the update coming later but my opinion is that thats kinda lame on their part lol they did our taxes and know whether or not we had eic so it seems like theyd have stated the path act just like the irs does instead of giving people a date they know already isnt accurate.

Im feeling awfully pouty about the whole thing tho lol

Maybe… But on ours we showed it processing on the irs WMR thing and still have the path act message… So i know they really sent ours on the 19th cause the irs had already processed it. :-(

Mine says the same. Accepted 1/23 with transmittal date of 1/29. I think its just the date they use because that is the day the IRS begins approving refunds. I also have a projected deposit date, just I think they just use the 21 day timeline for everyone. I have EIC so I have the PATH message on WMR. Have a feeling after that projected deposit date passes, Turbo Tax will update to let people know if they dont have their refunds by now its because of PATH. Must my opinion.

Same here. Sent on 1/26 not accepted yet anyway but TT show transmitted on 1.29.18. Maybe it is generic date or they just did really trasmited today. I hope to be accepted by this Friday
