Transcript Year?

      I know this is going to sound like an insanely silly question and I apologize in advance. I wanted to order my transcripts by mail. It gives me years to choose from for returns. The most recent is 2017. Is that the transcript for the refund I should get this year? Or is that the transcript for the return I received last year? I know my w-2 and all that say 2017 but I am so unsure if the return transcript year pertains to the current year or not. Thank you for ANY help at all!

          I also did not notice any codes just a 5-10 day delivery of the transcripts.

            Just to clarify I should have ordered the 2017 transcripts right? Like there is not gonna be a 2018 option till next year?

                Following, I was wondering the same. I am able to order my 2017 transcripts but unsure which year it was actually for.
