The dreaded letter!

Informed delivery shows I have a letter coming today from the IRS 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have filed the exact same way for 17 years (HOH & standard deduction), with the same kids (they are 17 & 10), same job for 7 years, same address for 5 years! Ughhhhhh All over $300 in EIC!

I’m assuming I’m being ID Verified however WMR says “being processed” not “still being processed”! I hope that’s all it is.

@Jamie, glad yours was easy.

I can now see the pic of the actual envelope for mine and it’s actually for my son and not me, who I know owes back taxes so I’m sure that’s what it is for. Just crazy because he doesn’t live here any longer but did at the time the taxes were due.

Good news is that it was just a letter confirming I signed up for an online account 😳🙄 Still doesn’t explain why I haven’t had any movement, although I’m thinking it’s something to do with TurboTax!!

I went from 152 to PATH this morning, but also have a letter in my informed delivery.

Anyone who doesn’t have informed delivery by USPS, should get it. Then again, if you don’t check your email regularly or are one of those with 2,342 email notifications, it isn’t for you. I love having it. Sometimes they miss stuff but it’s pretty cool to have.

I’ve already received my state refund. This is federal & no PATH or “still processing”. There has been zero movement since I filed on 1/31.

I have a certified letter coming showing in my Informed Delivery from USPS, too. My mail is currently on hold so it will be there until I’m able to get it picked up. My transcripts updated yesterday though along with moving from “still processing” to the PATH today. Very nervous but I’m a foster parent so my dependents change from year to year.

I can access my transcripts online & they have been at 00 with a due by date 2/24/20

No other codes are on my transcripts. And only one available is my account transcript; all others are NA.

Did you sign up to view your transcripts online ? If so that could very well be what the letter is

The only change this year is that I filed w/TT instead of TaxAct but I’m not sure if that trigger something???
