Timeframe on when SBTPG might get my refund if I just got my 846 code this morning for a DDD 2/7?

Unfortunately you will not be getting a refund to the actual refund date

Unless you used Chime bank like the others, SBTPG will hold onto your refund until the literal DDD.
I actually made a note to myself this time last year to never pay fees out of my refund again because of SBTPG.

It’s always best to pay for your refund out of pocket rather than with your refund. I know money is tight but try to keep that in mind throughout the year for next tax season. Youll get your money earlier and pay less in fees when you pay out of pocket vs with your refund!

I used taxslayer and paid my fees out of my refund. My state refund posted early from sbtpg. My federal has a ddd of 2/7, but it hasn’t posted yet

SBTPG does not send money out until the actual DDD. Even if you use a bank that does early deposits. They hang on to the refund money until the very last minute unfortunately. I started pay fees up front because of this, and get my refund 4-5 days before DDD by avoiding going through SBTPG.

My check is usually in my account the day before my DDD. I pay my fees with my taxes every year and use TT and SBTPG. My bank is like chime tho, so as soon as it hits my account I get it, even when they are supposed to hold it 🤪 love my bankcard

I’ve used SBTPG one time and I did not get my deposit until the DDD.

thank you! When i filed my state i opted to have my state refund deposited into my CK acct, but I got a little worried when i looked at my state tax return and saw the same acct number thats on my federal return which is the SBTPG acct number.

SBTPG only distributes your federal. Your state will be deposited from your state treasury (often before a federal deposit if claiming CTC, EIC or ACTC

Hi all!

does anyone know if SBTPG also receives state tax refunds or only federal? 1st time having to file a state return, and the state website updated this am to ” your return has been processed and refund issued please allow 1-2 weeks to receive” I’m just wondering if SBTPG will receive my state refund then send over to me or just my federal will go thru them. thanks in advance!

DDD 2/7 too. I use Chime so I’m hoping it comes a little earlier.

Hey, You probably will get it on the DDD. That was our experience when we used them.
