I filed and was accepted on 1/29 – I’m taking it that they didn’t actually receive until 2/1. I was able to order return transcripts last Thurs and received a DDD for 2/18 Friday. My concern now is that my refund amt is over $15,000. We had several deductions (house, tuition, kids, farm loss etc) plus my husband changed jobs and had a large final check that they taxed the hell out of it. I’ve seen that refunds over $10k are rejected from DD and have to be mailed. We received over $10k last year and our refund was frozen, released and a check was mailed; IRS said it was due it being over $10,000 but I’ve also seen people on here receive over $10k with DDD into bank acct. WMR gives a DDD but no info on mailing check, and I wonder if I wont find out until 2/18 that it is to be mailed??? Filed with Turbo Tax to DD through SBBT into personal checking.

Im in the same boat as you TonyC. In the UK, almost $12k return since my accountant said it could not be direct deposited. IRS refund tracking said it was mailed May 13th… Now June 10th and it hasn’t shown. Now tracking says there’s been an issue with processing (even though before it said my refund had been processed and mailed), and Im having to call the IRS help line.

Ours is over 10k and it is pending in our bank account and they will release it tomorrow. We bank with navy federal credit union.

I hope not too @TonyC. That would be tough for you! Lets just keep fingers crossed and hope we dont run into issues like the 2/10 DDD folks that got a message saying delayed/in review on 2/10. This year has been crazy.

Thats great to hear @LABsMomma I hope last year was a fluke thing for mine and it gets deposited this go round. WMR shows DDD of 2/18; last year it stated that the refund would be mailed. I’d hate to wake up 2/18 to a message that then says we are mailing your refund but honestly- nothing surprises me anymore with the IRS!

I hope not. My refund this year is nearly 12k and I’m in the United Kingdom. A US Check will take forever to clear.

The 10000 limit is due to the cards having that limit. My refund was over 10k last year and I had no issues it being DD from SBBT to personal checking.
