I filed on the 12th but there’s been no acceptance yet. When I do WMR, it says my information entered is incorrect but it’s not. Am I just being impatient?

Your info will not be recognized until your tax return is accepted (different than approved) on 1/29, or perhaps the next day, 1/30. An exception to this is if you are selected in the test batch.

I filed on 01/11/2024 with FreeTax. Filed both Federal and CA state. Federal accepted 01/16/2024. My WMR didn’t update until a day or two later.

I’m nervous as well!! Something was different about the filling process this year and I was only able to file my federal 1/17/24 but not my California state. California won’t populate any info. Filled on TurboTax. Hopefully we get an acceptance notification soon!

It will say that until your return is accepted which will officially start on 1/29. The acceptances that are happening now are randomly selected for small test batches before the season starts.
