Used TurboTax, filed & accepted on the afternoon of 1/31/18, no EIC or ACTC, long form, itemized deductions, nothing high risk though or out of the ordinary

As of today, irs.gov shows: “still being processed. A refund date will be released when available.” Or similar verbiage.

With all these new scams, although I haven’t been involved or impacted, I’m hoping the IRS doesn’t delay other taxpayers refunds to “further review” to make sure they are legitimate returns.

Really counting on getting this refund quickly. Thus my early filing. So distraught…

Updated this morning to say refund accepted and a DD on 2/14.

I filed on 1/31, accepted the same day. My return is complicated (itemized deductions, self-employed, education credits).

I am able to view my tax transcript online as of this morning.

I am still one bar on WMR.

Filed and accepted 1/31. Bars disappeared on 2/5. Today (2/7) still same status. Refund amount disappeared as well. Tax topic 152. Orders both transcripts via mail. No EIC or ACTC. Praying it’s soon!

Kasparov’s we, my parents and I, too had Big Harvey flood losses and no insurance. First ever flood and my mom was raised here. We too have only form 4684. Filed and accepted on 1/31. For us it’s money to repair our home to move back into our homes. My fear, government shutdown.

I filed 1/31/18 and accepted in less than 22 minutes. Still no movement. No offsets, no child credits, but i do have casualties and losses from Hurricane Harvey. I don’t need a PIN for ID because I used the same tax software with Turbo Tax. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Updated to two bars on 2/3/18 with a DDD of 2/7/18

We’ll see. Last year they said the money was sent with three bars and then they recalled it to verify my identity, which I had already done with them before they would process. I’m not holding my breath. :)

I was at one bar now it is saying that my refund is being processed.

I was able to order online transcripts Friday and it has a 150 code, cycle 20180505 with a date of Feb 19. It also has an 806 code. Not sure what that all means, this is the first year I’ve ordered transcripts.

I filed & accepted 1/31/18, I used freetaxusa, and I have American opportunity credit as well as actc.

So far 1 bar, tax topic 152.

Last year I had the same credits, and I got my return 2/23/17, I filed 1/17 last year a little sooner. I imagine this year my return will come around the same time.
