      I filed 2015 taxes last year. It was my first time ever filing and I had EIC. I was expecting a refund, received a request to verify ID online. However I failed a question and was told the tax refund was cancelled. I never received any papers in the mail on how to correct the problem. I filed 2016 this year, verified my ID and got my refund. Is there anyway I can filed 2015 amended and still get that refund or have I just lost it?
