Disappearing Bars???

I have EIC & Child tax credit. Last name change, new address, new baby and school credit 😊

I had one bar and then it disappeared and all it said was “Your tax return is still being processed.

A refund date will be provided when available.

Anyone dealing with this?

I lost my bars for a week then updated with the path message. Not sure if that is positive or negative. I can order both my transcripts by mail. Not sure what they say, I haven’t received them yet. I haven’t received any letters yet….It has been 9 days since I got the path message.
Hoping it means I will be getting my deposit soon!! I have no reason not to, but who knows this year. Good Luck to all!

Filed and accepted on 23 Jan never had the orange bar never had this happen no credits so just a simple 1040 Ez been 3 weeks since e filed and still says processing no tax code.

Listen. I have been through this last year and now this year….had one bar for a week then the weekend after i filed everything disappeared….last year i had code 9001 and had to verify my identity and it took another 2 months to get my return. Now, my bar and tax topic have disappeared. They can tell you whatever they want….usually when your information goes missing its usually because your pulled for further review or to verify your identity. Its usually nothing good. and you will not be getting your refund on time. just trying to tell you from experience what will happen. usually the reps at irs wont even talk to you until 21 days have elapsed. I have had the same address job and filing status for years and then last year they pick to mess with me and now this year…im so over it.

Just spoke with an irs rep. Same thing happened to me and he said I’ve been flagged for further review. You might be in the same boat.

Thank you!! I had been trying since Saturday to check wheres my refund on the IRS site and the system could not find my refund. Was getting a little worried,even though I had received an email from TuboTax that it had been accepted. I checked the irs2go app and it stated it could not find my refund. I logged on here, saw you response and tried it on Chrome with an incognito tab and there it was WMR updated with one bar! That’s good enough for me,for now of course. LOL

open the wheres my refund in an incognito tab and it works every time

on chrome right click this https://sa.www4.irs.gov/irfof/lang/en/irfofgetstatus.jsp
and choose open in incognito tab.

im trying to spread the word. i see this happening a lot to people

This happened to me. Needless to say, im sick.

Went from one bar tax topic 152. To “your return is STILL being processed, a refund date will be provided when available”. I did not want nor have I ever seen that message. Can someone tell me what the real deal is. Sigh.

Filed 1/22 accepted 1/23..Had one bar up until today. Woke up to message your return is being processed a refund date will be mad available! I’m single no Dependants..So I’m not one that has to wait till after the 15.. Anyone else going thru this..Oh I used turbo tax and it’s direct deposit to NetSpend card.

On Tuesday it showed as received for my federal. Yesterday and today they say they haven’t received my return. If I did my job so poorly I would be fired. LOL Ah well the IRS does love to make you sweat it out.

They seem to do that I don’t know why butt hey usually come back after it updates overnight.

I’ve had same message for 2 days now. I have EIC and Child Tax name change and address change this year same dependents are my kids.
