Hey Ashley same thing has happened to me and I used Turbo Tax and had fees taken out but SBGT is not even showing they have the funds. Oh by the way I did have a 201 offset but the irs already adjusted my refund and I have all 3 bars ….now I just wan to know where my money is ….Have you received yours yet?

I received mine on the 27th at 1am with Regions Bank. You guys have stop listening to these rumors of false hope. The IRS said it would START depositing on the 27th. The issue isn’t the IRS it’s your bank. FYI WMR never showed the update.

1800 304-3107 choose option 2 you probably got offset if you didnt get it yet. Make sure you hit 2 cause 1 is for business debts. Everyone that didnt get theirs is offset

FYI!! The IRS has said that their bank has been backed up today and that people with a DDD of today will see it today or tonight by 2am. So this info is for those of you still waiting and asking why you haven’t recieved it today. Damn wish ppl would SCROLL down and read the comments before asking the same question…which you know ppl still will lol Doesnt matter what bank you have or what card its going to. This is the case for today at least.

I do other people’s taxes also. One of my people filed after me DD 2)27 fund’s were sent on 2/26 and in her bank this morning. Doesn’t make sense. If the IRS released funds yesterday and our DD is 2/27 then why we don’t have our money yet. When you have been doing your taxes for 20 year’s and never had any issues and now things are different. People have a right to panic. Families count on that refund. You can’t get any answers from anyone about what is going on. This is ridiculous. Never had to wait more than 21 day’s.

So I’m not the only one that cannot see anything on the SBTBG site. Still no money. I have been on the phone all morning. TT gave me a number to call SBTBG and speak to someone. The first time I was in the que for 1 hour and 55 minutes and they answered and hung up. The second time I have currently been in the que for 2 hours and 56 minutes and still waiting to speak to someone. This is BS. I will never have fees taken from my refund again or use TT. Ashley C From what i have researched it says all the income and tax info must be included on one w2. You might need to file an amended return. But if you have an active DDD then you might’ve just slipped under the radar. If so you will need to mail in an amended return for the absent W2

If coming from SBTPG, you should start seeing deposits in the afternoon.

My wmr still said money hasn’t been sent so do not rely on that. Check your bank if you still haven’t received a Dd and I also recommend making sure you put correct account number in where you wanted money to be sent. Good luck!

When you call the offset hotline make sure you choose option 2. I know a lot of people including myself where choosing option 1, in fact i did that for 4 years until i was made aware that option 1 was for business dept.

I tried updating earlier but it kept saying the post was temporarily down for maintenance. I filed my taxes 02/13/20219 and I was accepted with the IRS the same day. I had DDD of 02/27/2019, (posted 02/21/2019 on WMR) I filed my taxes with TurboTax and had the funds sent to my NetSpend card. Thinking with the “2 day advance” direct deposit with NetSpend I thought I would get it 2-25-2019. I call SBPTG around 7am 2/26/2019 and they had received my deposit, took their fee and stated my money should arrive in 1-2 business days. I stressed for nothing, my funds posted 02/26/2019 around 5:30pm central time. I had work w2’s, my business tax deductions plus EIC. I also had received a letter around 2/19/2019 to call or go online and verify my identity with the pin they provided. I did that the same day I received the letter. This is actually the quickest I’ve ever received my taxes. I usually wait at least a month before even getting a DD. First year doing them myself with TT. Finally got my funds deposited & I did not receive a text or e-mail. I checked 30 min ago online and it wasn’t there. Everyone hang on comit’s coming! Question.. so my deposit is 800 and some off numbers short and it’s not fees because they took that from my state. The amount the deposited is 800 less. My transcript shows 800 more than they have me. Has anyone else had this happen? Did they fix it themselves overnight if it did?

So, I was able to order both of my transcripts on Friday. WMR updated for me Saturday with DDD of 2/27. I just received my transcripts in the mail yesterday. Yet, I have no 846 code. This has never happened to me. It says on the transcript “as of 2/25” which is weird because the transcript was created and dated on 2/15. I have no offsets and do not owe anyone. But I have a cycle code of 20190605. I am so confused at this point.

Last year someone tried to file taxes in my name, and they screwed up horribly. I didn’t know this until I received a letter stating that I owed last year. I went through the process for disputing it and reporting fraud. So this year, they assigned me with a pin that I had to use with my taxes.

It has been so much confusion going on this year. At this point, I don’t even know If I’m getting my money even though it says refund approved and gives my refund amount. The transcripts threw me off badly.

Anyone else been through this??

SBBT received refund 2/26 (today) and sent remaining balance, after they collected their $40, to my account according to their website.

I have looked at so many forums and I’ve noticed that not many people have used the emerald card. I think next year I’m using my netspend card instead of the emerald card. I hate being left in the dark with absolutely no communication besides reading from a script when you call customer service. I’ll never use the emerald card again. I suspect that they hold onto the money as long as possible to collect interest. I messed up this year by going to HR Block because their fees are way too high considering they use a software that anyone could use for free or a small fee. In the end, going to their office is more of a headache than a benefit. Next year I’ll use the software myself and DD to a card like chime, NetSpend or Serve…. I hope everyone gets their refund in a timely manner :) Good luck!!

I have Wells Fargo, California and it hasn’t dropped. Then again, Wells Fargo, CA deposits everything late on Mondays. Most deposits/withdrawals aren’t added until Tuesday morning, unfortunately.

I’m thinking of using the Netspend card next year. People who have Netspend cards seem to have already received their refunds (on Sunday) or this morning (Monday) with the same DDD 2/27 as me.

Banks love to hold on to those large refunds for as long as they can, so they do.

If it’s up to Netspend, yes you for sure will. They send those deposits out as soon as they get a notification that there is money hitting the account. I use for my payroll and taxes and always get paid 2 days early bi wkly. I would not be surprised if the DD come early.

If you paid fees upfront then your deposit goes straight to your card account. If you chose to have fees taken from your refund then it goes to SBTPG or Republic first so that fees can be taken out. They will then send it to your card account. So some get it faster than others, that is the difference.

Thanks girl. I don’t have a major bank anymore. I bank with Simple which is partnered with BBVA Compass and I haven’t seen one single person that has mentioned them but me. Prolly not a good sign. lol. Last 2 years I got my refund on 2-22. I asked my bank a couple days ago and they said they don’t hold it. As soon as it comes through it releases.

Generally speaking and lack of a better way of explaining it when banks receive your deposit it’s in the form of a digital check with a date on it. The process is typically started a couple days prior to the date to ensure funds are on time think of it as a post dated check. Regular banks and credit unions typically listen to that digital release date where prepaid cards basically see the funds and give the funds based on that promissory note in the form of a pending direct deposit. Hope that helps a little. I’m still waiting as well have chime and expecting anytime between now and 1pm est as that is when mine have hit previously.

Direct deposit is the quickest way to get your refund.The other option is a paper check.So that’s what everyone meant by that. Depending on your bank is when you will receive your refund.The people who are getting them early have their refund put on a card.(an Alternative to “big banks” ) with most of those cards they will release the money as soon as they see you will be getting it.Like my husbands job sends info to the bank that he will get paid on Friday so as soon as they get the preliminary info they basically front the money.He gets paid Thursday morning.instead of Friday.If you have Bof a ,Chase,Wells Fargo you will most likely get it on the DD date given.I had b of a and would get my DD that morning.When I switched to Chase it came later.Last year I got it at like 3:30 pm.

I’m confused a little. I thought bank direct deposit was supposed to be the fastest. That’s what everyone recommended when I was deciding, and even what the IRS recommends……but you got your refund at 10pm on Sunday and I will have to wait till Wednesday. Normally I wouldn’t even care except I have important things to pay on the 26th…….

I also went through free tax USA. I filed on 1/16. Accepted 1/16. Changed to path message and updated all the same as yours. Received the DDD of 2-27 on 2-23 just like you. I’m even self employed like you. So why did you get your refund on the Amex card quicker?

Also wondering, when you check the WMR is it still on 2 bars saying it’s been approved and will be sent by 2-17 or has it already updated to the final bar saying refund sent? This is important to know because if it hasn’t updated to the last bar saying sent then maybe I still have a shot at getting mine early in my bank account. Mine is still on the 2nd bar saying approved and deposit will be sent by 2-27.

If you filed using TT free you will not go threw sbtpg. It will just load straight to your bank card as soon as the IRS releases it. I’m waiting on mine too. I also filed free with turbo tax and I’m using the turbo tax card. Certain cards loaded already if you payed fees upfront or filed tt free but not everyone’s has yet.

I see everybody getting refunds, iam happy for you. As i am also. My last year eitc, my son is grown, last year of college. Next year, single and probably paying in.lol. but here’s a ideal, take $500 of that refund put into a CD in the child’s name, can’t touch it till 18 or graduates. If there young bye time, graduates it will be around $11 to $15 thousand. There’s the first car , insurance and ready for college. Do it every year,$500 don’t touch it, and let the interest roll over. When graduates, they will be ready. I just say this because every parent wants better for their children than what they had. Toys, trips, splurging, all goes away. Education never does. And there are more numerous ways to get a good start for your child, because WO them you wouldn’t get back that big amount. God bless all and good choices with your refunds.

I planned to file taxes, as soon as I was able.
The children were asking, for new gadgets and toys;
so they could have things, like all other girls and boys.

Sadly for them, I had ideas of my own.
I had planned to pay bills, and pay some of my loans.
I thought about a refund, covering all of the debt;
But I didn’t count deductions, or find my AGI yet.

The credit card payments were all falling behind;
It was the number one priority, on my mind.
I spent the night counting my tax credits and forms;
So I could e-file, when the sun came up in the morn.

I put down my head, to rest for a short time;
my eyes were so weary from going line by line.
I dreamed of vacation and piles of green dough,
Taxmas was coming! And we could possibly go!

I slept for three hours and woke up in some drool;
I needed to finish because a refund would rule!
Brewing some coffee, I hoped for an upswing,
Then I sat down to finish my tax filing.

It didn’t take long, until it was all said and done;
I pushed submit and began to think about fun.
“I’m getting a refund!” I shouted giddy with glee,
I began to sulk, the PATH Act came to memory.

The EITC and ACTC entered my mind, and it became clear,
that my refund wouldn’t come ’til late February this year!

Ok people with the DDD of 2/27. I’m in the same boat but we all have waited this long what’s a few more days? At least we got a DDD and don’t have to worry about that any more. And yes you might get your money a day early but if you choose to have the fees taken from your return it might be the day of. I always have my fees taken from my return and if I recall I got my money a day early last year.
So just relax and be patient.

I know all about iverdue bills. With the gas and electric they cant disconect you by law until the begining of april at least in Chicago were its cold. As far as forclosures as long as you dont ignore the letters and go to court you can drag it out for a year. When it comes to evictions go to court and have a trial to determine the amount you owe. After the trial file a motion to to vacate the judgement and you will get another trial date to figure out what you owe. It happend to me when i was young and i dragged it out for 5 months before i had to move. Im am not as iresponsible or “trashy” as I was growing up. Haveing kids gives you a whole new outlook on life.

I am so glad everyone here is getting their 2/27 DDD’s . I received my DD on 2/21 with a DDD of 2/22 using HnR block, emerald card with fees taken out.

Generally with fees taken out, you see it the day before your DDD, if you paid fees up front, then you could see 2 days before, generally speaking.

Remember there have been many user that have had no DDD at all, and received a DD.

I’ll be checking Monday and Tuesday if and when our refund has deposited into our Wells Fargo checking.

Aside from 2014, right after the Ted Cruz October government shutdown and having our 1040 pulled for verification that caused a delay of 2 1/2 months (and the help of a tax advocate!) after filing to receive our refund (filed 01/28 and didn’t receive refund until 04/11!), this year has been the longest.

I call bull that “the gov’t shutdown won’t affect income tax processing”.

It did.

I remember, before that stupid PATH law was passed, that we used to receive our refund 5-6 days after filing! I had filed on a Sunday, received Fed and State refund on the following Friday.

Now, only State refunds (CA) deposit the old way (5 days after filing).

It’s been frustrating, to say the least.

WMR updated after 3am 2/23 and got a DDD 2/27 hoping for an earlier deposit starting Monday hoping that would be the case.. since I had sat and watched people on here posting earlier deposits when their original deposits was for the next day. hope this helps for most H&R BLOCK filers have a nice week end with a piece of mind.

I filed 1/22 turbo tax got accepted message the 23rd then feb 4th i check and it says processing so i wait then the 12th i check the app it say 1541 delay in processing ur return online version say the same thing but has an orange take action notice same codes and i call irs they said i was under review so i call every day for a week cuz my status on where’s my refund aint never updated and today they say reviews complete and my ddd is 2/27 but it still shows no update the irs man said it will update over Saturday and show everyone in this batch they date also those who was held 4 the tax credits only people with kids eho got refund back already is either people who got a loan up front or the people the irs did a test batch of random people with credits cuz of the new way its all processed now 2 make sure it was all clear now we gonna start seeing the real refund flow in ❤thank god was starting 2 think trump took my refund 4 his wall🤦

I finally got a DDD of 2/27/19. Filed and accepted on the 31st. My sister filed after me and got her today and she had an offset. I do not understand how they process returns. I’ve filed with the same 3 kids for the last 15 years. I had TT take fees out this year so it is going to take even longer. I only used TT because I wanted to try for the advance. What it didn’t tell you is that if you have the funds sent to another card you don’t qualify for the advance. By then it was already filed. I am going back to using CreditKarma. It’s completely free.

I was really hoping to get it today but now I know it won’t be until next week. If anyone with the 2/27/19 gets it before then, please let us know. This sucks.

I also updated to DDD 2/27 and I’ve learned from past years that I always received my deposit the day before the actual DDD….so fingers crossed

Congrats!! When I called the woman said I wouldn’t see anything until the 27th or after…hoping she was just not correctly informed and maybe she just couldn’t actually pull up my tax return info.😁

Hello everyone, I just wanted to give an update. I was also stuck on the message we have received your refund and it is being processed. Unfortunately, I cannot access my transcripts but I did break down and call the IRS spoke with a very pleasant lady there and she told me that my refund has been approved for DDD 2/27/19. I told her if I could get through the phone I would give her a big smooch.

Processing date of 2/18.
Finally, after weeks of nothing changing, I received a DDD of 2/27.
I have heard people say they have received theirs prior to this date.
Anyone else familiar?

Have received my DD for the past 9 years on a Thursday, but finally had my transcript update last night to the 846 code with a DD of 2/27. WMR still hasn’t updated (big surprise LOL)

No clue how some ended up with a DD of 2/22, but thankful we’re all getting our money at last!

Filed (TT) and accepted on 1/28. Path, then ‘is processing’. I wasn’t able to view my transcripts online, so I finally gave in to impatience and called today (8008290582 ext 652). On hold for about 20 minutes, then about 10 minutes for rep to look at my return and tell me my DDD is 2/27. Yay! Overall, a very painless experience…… and no more stressing! Lesson learned – I will definitely not be filing before the middle of February ever again! 🙂

This isn’t for me personally, but I just helped my friend get I to her transcripts and she has a DDD of 2/27/2019.

Her WMR never updated. This is why I had to help her get her transcripts. I had her read the codes and it’s it and 846 2/27/19

I personally know 2 IRS Reps and both are keeping me informed w/ updated information…. So NO LIES…. If anyone has dependents or the EIC…. Your money won’t be in your account until 2/27 or 2/28 depending on your banking process
