Heyyyy lol I have been checking the forum since I got accepted and have yet to see anyone post with a situation similar to mine so here goes…

Growing impatient I learned about tax transcripts, TT payment and cycle codes 😂
I’m 20220605
Transcripts were showing N/A and an as of date on 2020’s transcript so I was hoping to get my payment on Valentine’s Day
Transcripts updated this morning showing 2021 instead of N/A
WMR still stuck at received and 152 path act message
Transcripts look good except the as of date is now 02/28/2022 and the very last code at the bottom is 570 😩 I’m reading that this means a freeze on the funds and that sucks, I’m guessing that I’m a weekly updated so I will update if anything changes. Please shed some light and share your situation if we’re in the same boat.

@bbhmm thank you for the updates. I have a 570 dated 2/28, as of date is 3/7, and I haven’t updated in two weeks. I did receive a letter about a random selection up to 60 date review, and last week I called and they said 60 days from February 11th (even though I was accepted on 1/24, but “due to covid it may be 120 days”

Did not update Friday. Received letter stating they are doing a review which can take up to 60 days. Still have as of date of 3/14…I’ll receive it soon enough I suppose.

I spoke with someone last week and she said it’s because I didn’t log all of my income. It’s been reduced and to receive it could take UP TO 120 days(I doubt it will take that long but I think they just have to tell us so we’re not calling so much) I update Thursday nights so we shall see, last Thursday it just updated my as of date from 3/07 to 3/14

To have the 570 code I also have the 971 code from what I’ve been reading it has something to do with missing information or something but I do have a date of February 28th 2022 and where’s my refund status says your refund is still being processed

I to have code 570 dated 2/3/22 and a as of date of 2/28/22. No other codes listed.

Is the as of date the next day we’ll see an update?
Should I call them?

Last year I filed in March and didn’t receive my refund until October.

In 2019 I had 570 code then 571 a week later and received my refund shortly after.

Just viewed my transcripts this morning I updated to the 570 code so of course I’m worried and googling smh I’ve tried to call but due to high deman I can’t get through also I did receive 971 notice issued. I’m basically worried and crossing my fingers they figure it out and give me a 571 code

Transcripts probably won’t update again until Saturday early am so I’ll stop trying to get in there lol. I have received a couple more w2s since filing 🤣 I worked a lot this year so that could be it.

I have that as well but the date next to mine says 02/07/2022 with an as of date of 2/28 no other codes and I have the delayed message…uggh

I am also 20220605 with Code 570, my transcripts show my CTC AND EIC codes as well but that is it, my processing date of is 02/28/22. After path lifted, I went back to “we have received your refund and it is being processed”. However, my transcripts are still showing code 570. I do not have a code for a notice coming, I do not have any debts or offsets showing, I file the same every year and same dependents.

I also am same code with the 570 at bottom. Only letter I recieved was a letter stating there was a tax return filed in my name if true ignore letter if false a # to call and report. I do have identity theft protection. I’m hoping this is why the freeze is them using extra precaution.

If you can look at your transcript carefully code 570 has the same date 2/28/2022 I am a weekly next update I think more codes to follow with that same day 2/28/2022

Hi @KJ1984 I am on the same boat, any more info about that letter, if is just a common step or if is a mini audit type thing.

So I found out that’s basically for foreigners if I’m correct and I’m very surprised the system didn’t find that error knowing that’s never been chosen b4 and can verify that it’s an actual SS# for my 5 year old boy. It has to be an easier way for people to claim credits without making me feel like I don’t know how to read or comprehend sentence. I don’t know what we should do just please whoever has this let’s keep each other updated.

Also freaked out because it’s the IRS and people answering after waiting on hold for ever or calling to get through tells us nothing. I haven’t called yet because I just found out nothing about notice sent or anything. I had to amend 7/2021 in order to qualify for CTC payment because when doing my return option under dependent info said not legally allowed to work in US.

Hi all, no letter. I called earlier and spoke with an agent with the irs and he said that there’s nothing that I need to do. I will just need to wait and see if the money posts to my account by Monday and if not call back. That’s my 21 day mark. Hopefully the manual review is all it is and it goes through.

It is basically a manual review and most things they can update manually if somethings incorrect however some people are just randomly selected for quality control purposes it says in its site

have you recieve a letter yet..? my letter was feb 3 but it just now showed on transcript after two weekly updates .. so be looking for a letter .. however the letter states take no action give up to 60days to deposit refund/or request more info or call back ..

I am was also accepted 01/24 stayed na for about two weeks.. I recieved a letter 4464c in mail couple days ago saying I’m in review don’t cal until 60 days , the letter was dated the feb 3 however it didn’t update Friday feb 4 to show it was sent .. I updated this morning to all transcripts filed out( except 4th box/wages box) with all credits and processing date 2/28 with code 570 at the bottom.. for pending additional account action..
