      Is anyone else going through this? Or can anyone help?

      -I was accepted 1/31.
      -Approved Sunday or so and got a DDD of 2/18.
      -Checked the Santa Barbara Tax Products Group site very early this morning and it said that they had received it and were sending it today (2/18).
      -Later in the day, I checked Sbtpg again and it would not let me into my account. It said we needed to verify our IDs. I submitted everything and called to see what had happened.
      -They said our bank rejected it and sent it back to them so they have to mail a paper check after the identity verification goes through.
      -My bank says they have no record of it.

      I am now able to log back in to my Sbtpg account but it says $0.00 for everything now. I am hoping that means for some reason that our IDs were verified really quickly and that the paper checked is going to be mailed tomorrow, but I am so freaked out.

      Really bummed, we were supposed to leave for vacation on Sunday..but it looks like that isn’t happening now.

          Well i had same thing happened to me i did the whole id thing and i checked it shows me that i been charged an extra 20 for them to print me a check n says the new amount and that its being sent to me now so im hoping i get it soon did anyone finally get it?

            Going through the same shit, DDD on 02/10/2016 , bank rejected, now waiting on a verification, verification date was 02/12/2016, it changed from 2 days which changed to 7 wtf, 7th day still nothing smfh

              Just an update, today I called SBTPG an spoke with a very nice lady here it had been over 5 days for my ID verification. She took my information an said she’d check in to it an call me back in 1 1/2 hours, I thought doubtly she would, so at the 1 1/2 I called back, she called in on the other line!!! PRAISE GOD! The hold has been lifted an I am set up for deposit on Monday!!!! I called my bank an let them know they were coming an was advised they would just go in :)! I hope this helps! I will update Monday an let y’all know if i get my funds

                I am in the same boat!!! At first SBTPG told me 4 business days to verify now their website says 7 days! When I called they told me the bank rejected it! I told them no it didn’t y’all had a hold on it before you ever received funds!! She said of your right I see that now it’s the refund amount??? Submitted last Thursday an still nothing!!! Idk what to do!

                  When you called the bank did you speak directly to the ACH department? If not, I would call your bank in the morning and ask to speak to the ACH department directly. If I am not mistaken they keep different hours because they work over night and into the early morning.

                  Many times when I am awaiting a deposit if I call the bank they rep has no information about deposits, but after speaking to the ACH department they can see the deposit pending or if they rejected it.

                  The bank usually rejects a deposit if the name on the check doesn’t match the name on the account. Some banks are stricter about this than others. Prepaid cards seem to be the most strict about this. I guess after all the scammers started using their cards to get fraudulent refunds, they had to do something. Banks are a bit more lax because you usually have a longer relationship with them. When I was married and filed a joint return with my husband the bank never had issue with our tax refund being deposited and my name was secondary on the check, but not on the account at all.

                  If the ACH department STILL has no record of rejecting your deposit I would immediately contact SBBT back and inform them that the problem seems to be on their end because your bank never received it and the ACH department did not reject it. If they made and error and see it was their error they might go ahead and send it over again.

                  I’ve used SBBT in the past and never had a problem with them. Back in the day, I did not have a bank account and did not want to cash my tax check so I opened an account I planned on using to have refund deposited. Well, they closed my account right before my tax refund was going to hit and I couldn’t get them to re open with the same account number. I was able to get SBBT to change my bank account number to a Netspend card and they processed this within 24 hours no problem.

                  This year I keep hearing about them making people verifying and them sending back the refunds. I wish I had just paid my fees upfront to avoid additional hassles.

                    And now it tells me I can’t get into my account again..which means it’ll probably take a week for it to verify. This sucks.
